How is throwing and retrieving spear easier than shooting people in the back with bow or pointing the caster laser at the ground for 2 seconds? You don’t have to run into the enemy team and take free damage for the latter.

Caster:

  • charge up time
  • can overload energy if spammed at full power
  • laser reveals position

Yautja Bow

  • charge up time
  • charging creates a directional, stretching sound
  • arrows leave colored trails
  • headshot damage has been nerfed to equal to a fully charged plasma shot

Yes but imo using any other strategy against a good-great team is gonna be very slow and they’ll exfil in the tourney ranged preds arnet affective to an extent but spear throw preds are very close or do win but ranged has barely killed a lot of ppl I’m just basing most of what I’ve seen with good preds and teams

And with combi you must be accurate not to mention with new perk combos it’s not gonna be a straight insta down anymore (for recons and scouts)

Yea I mean I’ve always seen it as a crutch for preds but halfing to pick it up with a button is broken same for disc ect its to much lol

True. Maybe just having to be within the pick up radius for a split second, before it’ll pick up would be sufficient. Like I said, it’s the instantaneous pick up that really bothers me. It’s not game breaking, just annoying.

Agreed but with my team spear throws don’t bother us to a point we all understand against a good team it’s the best option even then ppl barely hit us ect this games clearly skill based for pred even then it’s hard asf lol
