So here’s another surprise, I like the movie predators. I’m a huge predator fan, there’s predators doing predator things. I enjoy the movie. But I’m not such a fan boi that I can’t admit it’s not a very good film. The script is bad the effects are bad the tension is non existent. Sure. Not a great movie. But as a. Predator fan I enjoy watching it. But if we as fans just guzzle down anything with a predator in it and yell WOW THAT WAS GREAT we get shit movies like “The Predator”
There are plenty of great movies that didn’t receive a sequel 😂😂😂

I like Predators a lot too. I think Brody was miscast, but did a good enough job. That being said, better cinematography and special effects doesn’t make a movie superior, IMHO. The new Star Wars films LOOK nicer than the originals, as does Ghostbusters 2016. But none of those films come close to the originals. Predator practically invented a new subgenre that nothing has touched since. 1. Predator 2. P2 and Predators are too close to call, again IMHO. I wanted to like The Predator, it’s just such a mess…
How about also when you wrongly said it flopped at the box office and how you said it was rated bad by rotten tomatoes.

… it has 50 percent view rating. That means the fans. Like actual movie goers when paid money and it’s at 50% that’s really REALLY BAD. It has a sequel planned…the movie came out got panned so they canceled the sequel. Would you do that unless the movie sucks? I was speaking purely in technical terms
It’s not just how I see things. The script wouldn’t even get you B in film school.
There’s things to enjoy about it, they are mostly just shoehorned in. Take those scenes out and the movie doesn’t hold together. It set pieces are over the top, yes they are beautifully shot and the cinematography is A+. That adds nothing to the story it’s trying to convey to you.
It is one of the better movies, it simply isn’t a classic or an example of good script writing.
I think predator was the best then predators and then predator 2
It made 120 on a 40 million budget. The budget does not include advertising. This movie probably netted like 50 mil. That’s not good dude. You just don’t know how any of this works hahahah
Not me. I very much enjoy that film. And The Predator.
Let’s be honest here though, all predator movies are silly popcorn movies.
