If your the first to be charged by the beserker and hes got the drop on you by the time you turn around you only get like 2 or 3 shots before your dow (unless you can parry pretty good)

Yea but at the same time it’s not fun to butt fucked as soon as you are found by the big bad predator also not dishonorable it’d be dishonorable if the prey is unarmed or not a threat but when the hunts on its totally okay for predators to use that plasma cannon especially because they mostly hunt groups of things, very rarely its just one thing,at the moment I can only think of Ahab I’m sure there’s more examples

Yeah, I can understand that. It’s like TOO much of a powerhouse beef cake. Too many times I’ve seen it stomp near the FT and swing the stick around and it’s an auto win, haha. If not an auto win it does a great deal of damage.

I love playing as the Beserker and I don’t run in to melee until I knock at least two out of the fight I had 3 trapped in a build with only one exit today and I just threw three traps down if they tried to run and shot into the open windows with fully charged plasma blast until I got down to the last one then I ran in lol
I kinda hate the berserker but I’m loving the hunter. I find against a good team it’s best to avoid the trees too much. Crouch and dithered lens help but I’m playing with the disc at ground level now. I melee’d a buddy with it a few times then he parried so I threw it into him and dropped him. It’s good for hiding ur location since you can adjust trajectory. It’s just tricky to hit with. I do use comb stick and traps with the occasional PC. I’ll drop traps and bait the chase. There needs some tweaking but there hasn’t been enough time for most people to adjust to the high skill ceiling, myself included.
I agree plasma cannon is your best tool… its spamable / strongest item besides combostick and if fireteam chases you they will regret it

I like what you are saying but we should definitely admit melee combat is busted rn due to knife parry insanity.
When I tried using him my matches went to complete shit as I only wanted the extra gear space and HP. His mobility was killing me when I had super aggressive FTs so dropped his ass and went back to hunter.
I wouldn’t say busted, but parry definitely needs to be limited to once per endurance bar, IMO.
I say busted because it can be done in succession and if the whole fireteam is there you only need one to kill him outright due to the stun.
Why would you go in for melee with the whole fire team looking at you?
Actually it depends on who’s playing the Predator. Not everyone plays the same. Good or bad.

I run Berserker or Hunter, the real issue is the weapons dmg and stealth factor. You kind have to run a combistick if you want a real chance for melee. They need to buff all other weapons to promote variety. Netgun/blade combo works up to a 2v1 I find.

A predator uses all his/her tools my man. This ain’t for honor.
I mean even zerk kinda sucks if the someone on ft has a minigun. Go 1v1 against a support with a minigun, you’ll down him but he will take half your zerk sized healthbar first. If you even think about claiming him, the other guys with miniguns will just fucking ice you. As for running away in second wind? Gtfo out the forms, scouts chasing you with a grenade launcher.
