How anyone can watch that Fortnite gameplay and think it has any relation to the Predator aesthetic, mythos, and mood just blows my mind. It’s a fuckin’ cartoon of a game aimed at scamming kids out of their money.
For all the many issues with PHG, I’ll take a game which actively tries to emulate the atmosphere of the original movie over a skin from some shitty kid’s battle royale game.

I also talk shit about fortnite still do. My friends got me to give it a try after a long awhile. Finally tried it and had some good fun with friends then got angry at some bs moments. I tell them “see this is why I stopped playing games like this” but when actually had a decent story I actually got more intrested in the lore.
But have I a good time playing it? Yes with friends? Much yes. Will I still talk shit about it? Oh most definitely

Called it allready better than hunting grounds, a cloak thats near invisble standing still and still very hard to see crouching and walking slowly, and then its noticably more visble running, thats how it should work different levels of visbility not invisble and transparent.
Trust me I dont like Fortnite but that cloak is 10x better than PHG cloak.

When you open youtube to find the actual event and its 30 yr olds with the same recycled soundboards putting on their nickelodeon voice in a 10+ minute what’s up gamers video showing off their winner winner chicken dinner epic dances and killfeed that has nothing to do with their youtube algorithm titles.

I would say its concerning that this actually works as a marketing tactic and some percentage of people will actually play a game that they didn’t enjoy previously solely for a skin. Mortal Kombat guest characters alter gameplay so sure, but i’m amazed they somehow don’t lose money selling kids pop culture reskins that take them a week to make.

I mean great for people who play Fornite and Predator, but I don’t think it will make me load up game to get it. I saw that the room of the Predator’s apartment looks like the inside of the ship of The Predator. I mean they could of at least made it fit to theme of Jungle Hunter. Granted I don’t think there is anything wrong with design, but at least make it creative to something we never got to see in the film.

I could totally agree with having something new, I also agree that the people of Fortnite really have a real eye for detail. Clearly they did everything they could to respect the creation of the Predator unlike one director/actor. Granted I’ve been having a lot of fun with Predator in Fortine.
