Same I use hunter and try to throw the combi using it as only as a spear and rely on wrist blades since the combi is sometimes to easy

Well with the ft parry system any melee will soon be obsolete and there will be only pred plasma spammers

I mean…its been over a decade since anyone has had a Predator game…i didn’t pay 40 to play a human being…that’s just…idk…idk who looks forward to that after over a decade to finally get a game like this…who on gods green earth looks forward to playing as a person… 😂 but i digress…yeah there are issues on both sides but the main issues are on the Predator’s side in my honest opinion. I play as a scout, i lose almost everytime because the scout isn’t really powerful and they don’t have gear versatility on top of the perks not really making a difference i still try ti have fun even though as a pred you get bitched. I try to learn from mistakes.

I agree with that part.
I tried the Berserker most of the day today, and its just big, dumb, and slow…

I still don’t see how anyone thinks its OP, but its not as enjoyable as playing Hunter…
I just think Hunter needs a little more health. Like 20%

The fireteam is Op enough said.fireteams just want the game to be easy period.the fireteam has many resources both sides have no balance the fire team why are they able to carry 5 grenade 6 flashbangs what is that but you can run just as fast as the Predator will all that weight when too many med packs are able to revive three times I think we can all agree that’s a little bit too much spotter needs to have a time count so people can’t just Spam it continuously. And to those who are saying the Berserker is slow you got to use Branchmaster I think it’s called it makes him just as fast as all the other ones. Balance needs to be 50/50 but the fire team needs to be afraid of the Predator not the Predator afraid of the human. I don’t know if anybody plays Ghost Recon wildlands but the Predator event you know how hard that was to kill that thing you had to use tragedy. This is like playing Call of Duty 4 Man team versus a juggernaut that can be gunned down with ease.

That knife parry tho…
Just got killed 1V1 as Hunter with the Combistick because she kept parrying my attacks… like WTF?! 😅

I cant even take this game seriously anymore. Why the hell should I? Illfonic clearly didn’t… 😂🤣🤣

Ya the parry makes no sense.i wanna stop playing it till they change it but the game is too fun lol.like u block a spear the size of u with a combat nife?

There needs to be a defense to a Predator melee attack. Even if it’s something like a stamina draining sidestep. But there needs to be a counter. This is why parry is there. I know it sucks to be parried but you have to break that cycle and change tactics, don’t try to brute force it when this happens. Leap away and start the next confrontation on your terms, not theirs.

Yeah I got parrd 1 time an i was like what he was about to get on the chopper but then I backed up all the way and I just plasma him done dotta.

Perfect. There you go. Now use this tactic next time, don’t even think about it, retreat and reset the fight. You may be strong but you’re not invincible. Force them to play by your rules, don’t fall into theirs.

I mean ultimately if you know what you’re doing it’s not that big of a deal going against the fire team I just a few things need to be sorted out I think if they reduce the resources and lower their speed and limit the revived an buff the pred health a bit. Just make it hard to kill the predator make the fire team have to use their brains and you strategy

Received it again does he want them to play by your rules it’s kind of difficult because the timer is only get 15 minutes and they just fly by the missions they call the chopper in 2 to 3 minutes and I don’t just want to just run to their spawn and just obliterate them right there like I normally do cuz I don’t want to play like that though lol

True but how do you think its gonna go when preds are doing nothing but plasma spamming the ft to death? The hunt is no fun that way I like to mix it up.

I agree some changes need to be made but this will be for Illfonic to decide. Until then we have what we have and need to adapt to this. Sure we’d like some things changed, but until then we must learn to play the game as it is and make use of what we have to play with. And right now there’s a knife parry meta going on, so avoid melee attacks. This is the best defense against that right now.

That’s were some tweaks need to be made. Maybe a heavier stamina use? Or a cooldown? Or sidestep? But a counter to melee needs to be there. It just wouldn’t be fair if Predator can without any downside melee with impunity.

The only real change that needs to happen is improvements to class specific loadouts on fireteams side and reduced number of medkit syrettes , small tweaks to club sword disk speed and hand blaster and above all pred camo and lengthen the games abit maybe let fireteam do multiple mussions or call the chopper after the first one itd keep you guessing keep number of reinforcements calls to 1.

The same goes for parrying, I’m just talking about based on the weapon like the club a human with a knife could only parry a predator so much before getting exhausted (though really a club would just knock it out of the humans hand) there needs to be some form of counter balance for parrying just as much as a melee spamming predator
