Proof of "one" player using exploits.

Sorry but you are wrong. The spotters sole purpose is to alert the team where the Pred is at all times and put accurate fire on him to keep him off the objective while the other three do the tasks and kill AI. The cloak is not perfect, just like in the movies. So if you are coming into the first area and he sees you, and is putting accurate fire on you, you need to down him and take away the teams eyes. Now, if you are stationary, you will not be seen. The spot removal on fully invisible preds just happened in the new update.

My condolences.

“Now, if you are stationary, you will not be seen…” That’s exactly my point, in theory yes, it should work. But i have been in similar situation as this vid, where, without any blood trails, etc. i have been spotted after being crouched/cloak for 5 sec plus. If the clicking noise is a pin point as some are suggesting, there its should be removed when the pred is fully stealth.

I’m not entirely sure about that end bit either.

He shouldn’t have been able to see you at all.

It could be the sound, but I thought the pred “hooting and clicking”, was non directional designed to inform the fireteam that predator is around but not betray his position to give a sense of omnipotence and paranoia?

Maybe he got lucky as the sound did happen to come from that direction at his end… hmm either way its worthy of discussion.

Edit - the blood splat that appeared probably didn’t help.

I think it’s legit. These sort of posts are useful though and I dont think they should be ridiculed. By dissecting what’s going on it helps us understand what gives away the predator player.

You could see the pool of blood below him, that plus the sound was GG…

These are jokes

Yeah this looks fine. around 45 secs you can see a FT mudded up in the top right. Not 100% if the shot came from him but definitely possible. True it’s third person so I can’t see from his pov whether that shot is possible but it looks fine. By the damage I’m guessing it’s a sniper shot.

Then the ridiculous amount of noise predator makes which, this is the worst bit, is fucking directional so that helps a lot in pin pointing you. Plus with your health you were bleeding all over the place so those two things together make for a nice big “Ding Ding, yo FT I’m over here”

@splifftor, if you pause the videoclip at 0:45 and look at the top of the screen to the right of your compass, you see a mud covered player(slightly turqoise color) who is looking down the slope and sees you, shoots you, and probably runs off to his team mates because he thinks you will go after him.
As for the kill, there is blood dripping down on the ground by your feets, you’re standing up in cloak mode and giving away clicking sounds, anyone would see that shimmer silhouette.

I think most people who post videoclips and complaining about other players using exploits, cheats etc are actually being ignorant, you don’t seem to have any situational awareness, which is crucial when playing as a predator. You write that you are being shot at just after the start of the video, the fact is that you’re positioning yourself right between the fireteam and the AI, right in the line of fire, the bark coming off the tree is probably caused by the AI who is shooting at the fireteam, their aim is terrible.
You mention that a non exploit user went within 3 feet range of you, but you’re not fully stealthed, you’re standing up, he is probably new and didn’t pay attention to the blood on the ground and the clicking sounds and shimmer, even the bending of the bushes you stand in. Then a more experienced player comes, who knows you’re around there, checks the area and notices the earlier mentioned things.

I see nothing wrong in this videoclip, only a predator who needs to read up on how to play his class.

Unless there is a reinforcement challenge going on, then nobody reinforces. But you let them get to the radio and start the call just to keep the spectators entertained…

I think many times people jump to the conclusion that hacks are being used simply due to overestimating the Pred’s stealth(pred is not that stealthy in this game) and underestimating the FT’s ability to traverse the same terrain as pred can. FT might not be able to climb trees but they seem to get to places where they have a clear view of a lot of terrain which the pred commonly travels through. Think about players who have amazing memories for maps and how that might doom even a moderately decent player to a stressful and not-so-predatory match up

@Courier Are these constant baseless accusations of cheating with attached irrelevant video of any use what so ever in regards to identifying cheating or hacks or would you appreciate client side info to identify latency and PC/system issues as a minimum when someone is accusing Hacks? Just interested o.O

Hahaha dude this spoofter is a joke.
Coming from a guy who believes on fireteam the main objective is to kill “AI”.
Now you gonna cry about it exploits. You legit are a semi average predator, you are easily heard by your clicks and sounds, even sitting in leaves - the leaves move… (moron)… then you go cry that you got shot and didn’t see it cause you behind a tree. Lord. The nerves and the stupidity.

Time to try a new game spoofter, maybe hello kitty island adventure will suit you.
Or play private matches so you can just kill AI all game 🙃

you do not have to be crouched to be full invis, just motionless.
It’s even in the patch notes.

Simply put spoofter, you need to get better and stop making excuses for being shit.
Crying over the forum ain’t gonna help you.
Private match and killing AI’s might make you feel better though champ 👍

I blocked you in game because of the vulgar shit you just can’t seem to stop spilling the entire match (want the video?)

So I’m also going to block you here, have a nice life.

Won’t get far in life if your solution to being shit is blocking.
Upload the video chump, you got clowned in every game I’ve had you in. Good luck in mine craft

Poah, difficult one. You were moving while cloaked, they could have seen you. You also weren’t perfectly “behind” the tree, but slightly to their side. You also were making clicking noises, if they are the “hunting type” they would have chased you.

Now if they were using exploits/cheats they would have found you at the end there as well.

My best guess is, you didn’t spot the sniper shooting you.

I had a situation like this a while ago, got shot 3-4 times, lost my mask. I didn’t realize their sniper freaking flanked me 180 degrees and was shooting me from behind. I did win that match by wrecking them with no mercy afterwards… but I was so confused for so long.

This kinda feels the same, but it’s hard to say. I didn’t actually find “cheater” cheaters in this game. Just a bunch of A-holes abusing macro’s.

Tbh I figured this as soon as I saw the predator crouch walking around.

Don’t crouch walk around, its just as visible as sprinting camo. The FT notes it and will pretend they didn’t see you crouching around in some corner & you’ll get headshot. Never ever assume you’re invisible with how loud the pred is. Leaves move when you’re standing on them.

Vid is just a good example of why passive predator gameplay doesn’t work. As soon as you see the pred “stealthing” around one guy can just sit on a hill and spot you the whole time while you think you’re being so sneaky.

Nah man I played tenchu once so you’re clearly wrong. ;o

at the end he seen you due to the blood splat on your feet but the damage they did after that is questionable. the shots at the beginning could have been anything.

you see him at the end stop. look and take a shot after the character says “THERE!” the auto comments can help them find you sometimes.
