I try to have slower matches when i play as Pred so i can enjoy it. But for some reason, i almost always play against FTs that rush to the objectives. And I’ll admit, I’m not that great of a Pred, so a fireteam can actually lose me at times. I get lost in those damn jungles sometimes. Matches like that always end with a Combistick bum rush at the chopper because that’s when i finally catch up to them. My Pred skills are stagnant because of constant matches like that. Can’t get much decent practice. I need more private matches in my life.

Just keep practicing man. Use the tree and ground equally switch it up. Unlock the perk that tracks footsteps will help. Also motion sensors to tag them

what you can do is play more as FT, familiarize yourself with the missions… there is always 2 main spots on the map generally where the FT has to go to even though the mission is different. so you can always sit there waiting. also you will learn the maps quickly wont even need to use isolation other then looking for bacon to heal up.

If you want to learn the maps, do solo Private Matches. As Predator, the AI doesn’t spawn because there are no objectives. There are about 10-20 wandering AI for XP otherwise it’s just a really good way to get familiar with how each map is laid out, fast routes and sweet spots as well as experimenting with the weapon functions, differences in classes, and general game mechanics. Playing as Fireteam, you can farm VT and learn mission structures.

Yeah, I’ve been pinned down by a damn decoy device thinking a Predator was on my location. Had me scanning the tree lines like a meth’d up Vietnam vet🤣 Turns out he was on the other side of the map massacring the Fireteam but fuck them for leaving me stranded 😈

Lol yeah I love the decoys man. Set around a perimeter of the FT and they run like chickens with their heads chopped off 🤣

Or good for that matter when it comes to PC players.

I hate the you can’t play as well because you use a controller bullshit. It’s all about muscle memory, having the right settings as far as sensitivity goes, and practice.

Oh, sensitivity settings have a huge impact on play especially with the controller. And sadly they suck no matter what.

Not true, just have my settings as reactive as a mouse, and I pull the stick and the shit goes as fast as I need it where I need it.
