I will say the same thing for horror movies now a days.
With out true fear in the story, something that sets fear into the mind of the viewer… you dont have a horror move…

Have you played Darkwood? If not, I would recommend that, because even though it’s top-down, it builds fear and unease like nothing else I’ve played before.

PHG is long over due for death yes… but what has NEVER been tried with a Predator game is to make the protagonist of the story… well other than Concrete Jungle’s Scar Face… we have never played as the Yautja.
I would love to have more of a Yautja cultured game than another ‘Yautja came to Earth… everybody died’ game…
I want to be put into the world of the Yautja

I mean, after prey and phg and the absolute tumor that was pred 2018… I don’t see how anyone can not want this. But with reguard to other pred games, you should play avp 2010. Sadly the multiplayer servers (which put phg to shame anyday) are kaput, but the campaigns are still playable, and actually feature a decent storyline, with three intertwined chapters involving a human conspiracy, a xenomorph’s survival struggle, and of course a predator’s hunt. You get to play all of these as their respective race, and each one plays differently.

The good thing is, it doesn’t rely on jumpscares; just proper suspense-building, I think you’ll enjoy it.

True to the fact you get a little bit of a story with each… but what was needed in that was DLC story packs to keep it going… Never happened. Then after you finished each story it was 1st person shooter MMO where a lot of the time people played Xeno.
I got really good as a Xeno just because I over used wall stick and jump button mashing…

Do think one player got the name for me about right…
