She lived, broken leg and a cracked skull but was totally funny. I was a life guard during highschool I have seen my fair share of horrible stuff. Bones sticking out through the skin a broken back, even had a parent refuse to let me resuscitate their child due to religion or some bullshit. (Personally I think they just wanted to be rid of the kid because they showed no remorse)

Yeaaa… some people shouldn’t be parents… i honestly would rather them just give the kid up for adoption or something…or you know condoms😂

When I was in high school I was on the wrestling team

I went to slam my opponent and he tried to brace his fall by sticking his arm out

It then went 90° the opposite way

The Fuck! They told you to let them die?!

Same here. We were warned of this type of behavior in our training all we can do is agree and call paramedics

Damn that’s dumb I’d have lost it bro… I honestly would have gone to jail

Sounds about right. I wrestled as well. Never had that but had a kid break his wrist like that. We were taught to take the slam never brace it.

I had one of his arms trapped in my bear hug

I lost my job because of how I acted after I was screaming and ranting that they obviously wanted there child to die because of the way they acted. I had enough time to do cpr and would hve most likely saved him. But it goes on a record that i did my job and they chose for us not to save them

Still that kid was poorly trained. Got his arm broke for no reason other than he was not taught to not brace anything. His coach most likely lost his job. I believe that was in my first day of practice in 6th grade was not to brace but absorb.

Yea man…i feel you bro that would have had me up for a while… but hey man dont take any blame we all k ow who the real criminals where that day

Yea

Our coach was a big fan of the granby roll and made sure it was in our arsenal as well

Also what state where you in when doing that job?

No they didn’t tell me to let him die. It was more out religious beliefs dont allow him to be resuscitated. Its fucked up. Amish, Witnesses, And most middle eastern religions dont allow that

Oof i didn’t know they where that strick on no resuscitation… but nahh even then bro thats kid…like wtf bro… like…nahh nvm i wont get into religion cuz that shit sparks people… but …that’s sad…like god damn bro sorry you went through that

I lived in NC at the time. I was lifeguarding for The Great Wolf Lodge. Its a hotel with a water park

Oh I’ve heard of that place

Yeah its weird but you have to have consent to touch a child under 12 for cpr or Manuel breathing. Thats a law law. But then religion is also a factor ita crazy how many rules lifeguards have to follow on Saving someone.

Its was nice working there during high school. I was making 22 a hour as a high school student. So I was never short on cash. Was able to buy a car by senior year and pay it off was great

Honestly my urge to save someone i know i can help out weight whats right or whats mandated… i know I’ve been fired from jobs because i just care to much about being kind and courteous to those that truly need help… and I’m not balling in money so i cant help shit…but damn… working customer service for any company especially insurance is so disgusting… having to tell an older woman with stage 4 cancer you cant help them is the one thing that breaks my heart every so much…i quit that job right after… had family with cancer so i know how hard it is
