You’re just learning about the Friday the 13th fiasco!? The whole film franchise lawsuit, and royalties etc…
This is news from years ago that majority of the community was aware of before we bought this game.
I for one was skeptical too, the whole situation sucked and not completely in @IllFonic control and the suit is still ongoing between Horror Inc. v. Miller the script’s author.

Peopl who represent intellectual property can be a real bitch. AVP fans have been dealing it since 1999 with fan made stuff. I for one am surprised illfonic has made it this far, but me thinks its the fact that the game is unique and not a single player.
thats unfair they didnt plan on getting Sued. thats like those False Rape storys. the fucking guy shouldnt go too prision because someone called rape on a guy WITH NO PROOF. illfonic got screwed over and this is what they had to deal with. its not their fault.
