Then ask yourself why was F13 dropped then? And doesn’t that mean any future content on this game owned by the brothers? Doesn’t make much sense does it?

Perhaps because F13 was a directly law suit against the game company and the video game itself because of a real copyright/legal issue. when PHG have nothing to do with it expect being part of the franchise that the brother are just trying to re-acquire from disney.
But them again I think you forget that current work like predator hunter and AVP thickers than blood who where still in the making when marvel buyed the right of the predator comics from dark horse where indeed finished published even after they sold the franchise. Again the lawsuit will affect futur predator content. Not the current ones.

I doubt, because from what I read about the old lawsuit, there was no direct lawsuit towards the game, Illfonic just decided to drop the game due to the lawsuit over the rights out of concerns of potential legal ramifications against them and they didn’t want to deal with it after it was said and done.
My personal take is even if this game won’t be effected by the lawsuit, how long do you think it’ll be before Illfonic just drops it because of the same issues. Or they decide to drop it because this game is failing hard and the lack thereof a player base becomes no longer profitable to support this game. This game gets a new update, people come back 1 day to 1 week and leave again because it’s still buggy, still glitches, still has exploits to cheat to win, etc.
There’s a reason I barely touch this game now and only come back to see the update then leave again because it’s simply not worth the hassle and bullshit no matter how much I like the Predator franchise. Way better games to play that I don’t have to deal with even half the bullshit wrong with this game.

Look if it was something that happened to one of the devs, I feel bad and wish them good health and all, but if it’s a simple issue like bugs discovered in the update, i don’t care if it’s delayed, the less bugs, the better
Has bugs stopped them from dropping patches in the past?
