REINFORCEMENT TIME! this is a joke!
Basically. A lot of Predator players think they should just be able to strictly kill from a far and up close. That doesn’t work well. So, mix the two. Know when to strike and when to back off. You’re hunting, act like a hunter.
A single trooper can breeze through an entire mission almost as fast as a whole team and genuinely will not need to use a single syringe. You can even test it for yourself, play a private match solo and you’ll see how ridiculously easy it is for the Fireteam to practically sleepwalk through the mission against the AI.
Reducing the amount of AI soldiers the Fireteam has to face was a serious mistake in my opinion because they’ve gone from ‘easy but are capable of messing players up if ignored’ to ‘may as well not be there’. The single biggest problem with this is that it means the Fireteam players can devote almost 100% of their attention to the Predator at all times which means less opportunities for the Predator to take advantage of.

it works almost all the times.
But when you get to play against 4 FT, experienced players (the same level as you) them you start to see the real game!
You stalk and engage one off them quickly, the other ones are close and expecting you to do it, they open fire at the same time and your life melts away in a sec.
Them you retreat right? yeah you heal yourself, you come back and they have moved to another location , you search, find and follow them, you start the cat and mouse again, you lure them from a distance, you get close to one of them again from behing, you start reaping him, but their friends are ready for you again, your life melts down again, you have to retreat and heal, they heal themselves meanwhile and resume their walk in the park mission.
you come back, you try something different, try to shoot from a range, they melt your life from 1 km away too. The time goes by, the chopper comes, and they flee.
I repeat… this only happens when you get to face serious FT players. otherwise you get to kill all of them, or one or two. but against serious players you are powerless.
That’s my opinion.

totally agree! when they sense or see my predator they mark me first, them they (the 4 of them) turn their back to the soldiers and start firing at me, as if the soldiers didn’t exist at all.

Predator should always be more op than the fireteam because this is a asymmetrical multiplayer game which mean that there is this one stronger character against 4 or more weaker characters and these weaker characters has to work together to overpower the stronger one… These are the rules of a asymmetrical mp game

i dont disagree. just a different feeling playing now as pred and actually having to go easy on fireteam instead of wrecking them in a minute. thats why i disagree especially now with getting rid of reinforcements. before this patch it felt a little cheap but as things balance out i think reinforcements is a reason to keep fireteam in the game and not just quit as soon as the are claimed and to make games more than 2 minutes long.
