I think having non stop mini strokes is more accurate for the game lol, the amount of Pred bugs and glitches is pretty much a whole other enemy in itself lol

no this isn’t a good idea you’ll end up with angry players like me who don’t find fireteam fun angry that i have to waste your time and my time to play the game i want causing me to do this which i have done before if i’ve been on your FT and done this i am not sorry

when i play fireteam randoms i explicitly run all stealth perks on scout with a silenced smg and grenade launcher i run around the map mudded 100% of the time and pick up all the Veritanium stuff then wait for either my team to win the game or die if they all die off i kill myself via the grenade launcher
if this change happend i’d just be doing this more often ruining more peoples games
sadly the best way to deal with que times is to incentivize the players to play the fireteam more than the pred
the 2 easiest ways to do this 1 is fireteam earns more_____ which atm is just true fireteam usually earns more xp and more veritanium per game
2. fireteam is more fun/powerful to play which sadly is the hard thing to do i’d say they are more powerful than pred together but separate they have to be very good at the game to be better but are they fun for some people they might be but not me.
i have no interest in solo queing fireteam if i was forced to i’d either quit or do as i said above
if my pre made isn’t online i don’t want to fireteam that’s what predator is for

my reasoning for why i play this way it’s not fun for me generic fps gameplay will never be fun for me sorry
and because it’s team oriented i have to rely on others to hold their weight if they don’t i have a a hard time blaming myself for what someone else might’ve caused League might’ve done this to me but i can’t help the person i’ve become by playing it for 6 years it’s why generally i perfer my competitve games to be 1v1 nowadays cause then i can only blame myself or get into the numbers and see if it’s a knowledge i lack

Fact IS that this isn’t predator only game, to keep you play predator you have to play fireteam most of times to keep this game healthy, If you want only play predator then it’s ok for you to wait more.

… you do realize that there is a difference in wait for a 1/5 chance per 15minutes and a wait more for a guarantee after say 20minutes i will always wait longer for a guarantee rather than the chance

there is a possibility that for a 1/5 someone may never play the predator as you probably know if you use the no preference right now but we could consider it weighted currently since there are pred’s in the que
whereas if it was truly random then it’s much worse

and that’s also not true i DON’T have to play fireteam ever if i don’t want to as long as someone else does i haven’t played FT in over a dozen days now lol

There should be no preference for public matches, only private matches. Making this one change would make playing public matches so much better.

I hate waiting up to an hour waiting to be the Predator.

All they need to do is create a new type of que, where it grabs the next 5 players and randomly assigns roles. Que times should be fast, just like FT ques.

Leave in place the preference team options, but with this new type, it would fix the “no preference” que issue of getting FT every time.
