Remove the nerfs on the ranged weapons

I agree with all the above, including the video by CYZS, one of the communities smart disc experts, which I watched this morning. I love playing as the Predator and have a soft spot for the Elder and I love a good challenge but the past few days have been…hell.

I’ve actually played more FT to gain more V to buy some lockers and out of boredom really as playing the Predator at the moment is pretty much no fun at all, unless you just want to hunt bore. Like, CYZS’s video about the reinforcements and having “full” inventory after re-spawning is spot on, and Im really confused why there isn’t an option to call in supply drops from a Pred mother ship, or clocked crates on the map that you can locate to restock. The fact that you literally have a set inventory, and have to be careful with it is a challenge enough, but having arrows going through players/AI and other annoying bugs is not what I call balanced at all.

I think the above video is definitely something for @OldKingHamlet, and @Courier too address back to the team, as I really dont think its about being tactful and cunning being the Predator at all. He’s a 7ft Alien for heavens sake, and he’s the one being chased with a butter knife?! Like I know its a game, but come on!

I really love this game, and I really do, but after 2.02, its been nothing but crashes and grief playing as the Predator, and I’m at the point now where I seriously doubt a new map and mode (regardless of how many Predators are on the map) is going to help right now. I was excited about the map before 2.0, but now I can see it being a chore to play, rather than fun unless there’s some serious re working done on the Predators side.

Sorry for the rant, but I really do want this game to succeed, and I hope that @IllFonic really does take this thread seriously.

In all fairness throughout the summer the game and updates have been very Predator based (Samurai, City Hunter, Elder). Fireteam absolutely needed some love this drop there’s no question.
I agree though with the game build the way it is the clock is against the Predator and he’s got no big damage, which is absolutely needed considering a half decent coordinated fire team can be ready for exfil so quickly.
Bow head shot should one shot, that is a high skill shot and deserves the reward. I also feel the shoulder PC should hit for at least 140. Won’t down a support but will down most others and these ranged threats give FT a reason to pause. Right now there’s nothing to slow the FT down really because there’s no risk. You sit out in the open and if the Predator engages all he’s doing is giving away his position.

Despite the adjustments the game needs in term of balance, these updates will only help the game to keep alive. Content for ft is what the game needs, not any more predator reskin. You can play your game as Predator because there are 4 players that are queueing as Fireteam. And this circle can only continue if they keep putting content for fireteam to make them more interesting to play. So , no, the game is not dead, if anything is more active than before because of these news. Only Predator one trick are crying like little kids.

Ngl i played few matches and its fineish? im still winning all? No loss so far with my current build that has favor in dmg reduction lol… as i peak and shit…

But my last match literally made no sense xd… all they had to do was camp in backwater that lake hut houses place and go to that stair house and camp there and boom they were done in 5 min lmfao… i let them reinforce cause i thought they had no time but i was wrong… But won anyway cause i decided to mow them down with no regret and next time i wont let them reinforce at all… thats fking dogshit… avg people now can finish missions so fast…

Well, I eat pred since Friday I have won 100% of my games (I do not consider myself an expert or pro, average player), and 60% of ft (I know it was because of scattered randoms, but even so, it is a lot the difference of victories) do not forget that multiplayer games don to reach the largest number of players not only pros. the problem is that there is no ranking matching system and very good and very bad players coexist in the same games, which produces incorrect feedback. Do not criticize other players for their opinions, maybe they are correct, from what they see, just like the opposite. What makes opinions so disparate in my opinion is the difference in level of the players who live in the game
