What is your cpu usage? My i7 8700k stays at around 40% max usage epic settings at 1080p and temps around 65° c.
Why don’t you just leave it at epic settings. I don’t think it’s worth the extra stress on your system by playing at cinematic, the difference is not worth it imo.
Not sure how to see that in Ryzen Master.
Its in stock mode and using 6 of the 12 cores i believe.
I am trying out game mode tonight. If that works out better ill post some new vids. I just dont want my cpu running to hot. I got the Lian li lancool 2 MESH version today at the store and will return the former. See what that do.
the 3080 isnt bottle necked… its a step in the 4.0 direction thats why im not buying
i wouldnt run ryzen… or amd ever due to there cpu temps. Im sure if you ran a better cpu it would be

fps rarely dropping below 60 in cinematic while streaming the game may not be as badly optimized as was assumed. I just dont know how to tweek the OC setting of my new rig?..
Ok i have OC my 3080 to a curve i found on youtube and the CPU is in game mode ill record playing as FT for a few minutes
after setting the gpu curve i found on youtube and putting the cpu in game mode the game runs pretty good most of the time.
Its no doom but definitely gave me an edge over the pred. Ill add the vid in a bit. Also I will OC higher on the gpu tomorrow when i swap the tower case and get better airflow
Your cpu has 8 cores and 16 threads, I doubt it only uses 6 cores, it should use all 8 cores. But if your overclocking your cpu then that’s causing the high temps. Just leave the cpu in stock mode.
There should be no bottlenecking of any kind. Something isn’t right. 🤔
No i upgraded bro. Got the Ry9 3900x. New ROG strix mobo. and the 3080. I only need the new nvme ssd type and might get the zen 3 when it release if it seems worth it. I really need to start saving up for a 4k camera and monitor tbh. My Sony a7 is soooo dated

Ah ok ok…yeah man get it! But don’t overclock it tho because of high temperatures. You need extremely good cooling for overclock.

case wide open front case off too AIO installed. All temps are good been playing 3 hrs now

Just take the side panel off… i use open air… makes zero sense to shove you componets in a tempered glass case. Open air with 3 fans blowing to the back.
@BAWGGS in epic store settings, go to PHG and in “additional command line arguments” type this
“-useallavailablecores” and “-notexturestreaming”

No need it was my rig prior. I went with a new case new mobo and new processor.
seems like it fixed an issue on excavation if i stared into sunlight there is major lag as FT. Ill test on public matches thx
well playing as FT surprisingly gives extreme lag down to 17fps with the RTX 3080 on cinematic. The lag stems from looking into the sun on Excavation.
