But do I really need to care about heavy attacks being unparryable if I can backpedal and just unload?
It requires so many light attacks to down that you can parry in the middle of it once you & the preds hp is low, each swing seems like it does sameish damage. No need to keep your knife out at all to block a big hit like you do with the elder sword.
the stats are pretty goodā¦ you donāt have to melee with himā¦ till you down a few from rangedā¦ when i say stats i mean the samurai can be an alternate to hunter.

Well ofc. The best melee option is to not melee at all. Elder sword seems flat out better though

sword is stonger on first two regular attacks than elderā¦ the seondary is powerful but still sucksā¦ either way all preds die the same way

Why use a weaker class when Hunter is literally better across the board than SamPred. It got what, slightly more health than a Hunter. Same Gear and Perk points, and significantly less Stamina and Mobility.
Iāve said it before. All Pred āstat-barsā should equal at least 12 for it to be balanced between the various classes. And generally speaking, all Preds need more health if all it takes to put a Pred(Hunter) in 2nd wind is one mag from a Hammerhead. Even potshots from beyond optimal range deal fairly significant damage to a Preds health bar.

did you look at his unseen stats less dmg from bullet based and more melee dmg than hunterā¦ but I do see what your sayingā¦ high level gameplay he is not optimalā¦ elder is most optimal class or hunter

Unseen stats should not be unseen btwā¦ That is kinda bollocks, since it becomes even harder to compare balance. And those stats should be visible percentages, same with perks. How much extra dmg do you get in melee from Fearless for example? Should be listed.
Iām not gonna lie, the samurai predator is a bit underwhelming. I was hoping that it would at least come with the shuriken weapon. The katana doesnāt seem that amazing.
