You think they would shrink the poly budgets just for baseline? I think they should. If they could they should. I mean if it means looking at a round balloon of a model of arnold face texture plastered on it like a 1sided projection, then id say do it!
No i agree with your concerns.but i definitely don’t expect it to look the same on each platform after optimization.
They don’t however have even a low poly option on PC, just shadows and lighting which doesn’t account for a major improvement on frames per second. but it does a little.
In fact this method encourages people to see the differences and buy an newer model.

I think that if they’re going to make a game that is crossplay compatible then they should make sure the game runs well on both. Graphics will have to be sacrificed on console as well as low tier PCs but at least the game will be able to run well.

For the millionth time YESSS!!! I’ve even brought this post up in the bug reports section twice! And, I was ignored, I’m still bluescreening after every 3-4 matches. This is really pissing me off!
and for the millionth time, nobody even bothered to discuss how they could fix it.
Whats worse than someone pissed off and ignored? A pissed off person who is ignored who thinks their right but doesn’t get why because they don’t mention what their problem is or how to fix their problem.
How can they, the customer know what’s causing the issue let alone how to fix it? Let’s say they load into a match and then boom, blue screen, how will they know how to fix that? They could just say the way to fix the issue is to make sure it doesn’t happen again, I’m sure the devs (not these ones) would know exactly what to do with that info.
To be perfectly honest mass, I love the old school look.
If you gave me a next gen game, that has a bunch of cool and modern, but looks like a ps1 game, il be happy.
This is my issue with pc players. Many if not all pc players are obsessed with graphics so devs try to please them, meanwhile console gets fucked over.
Theres console player who are graphic whores too.
I kinda get it. A good looking game is nice.
I can appreciate ghost of tsushima, red dead redemption, the mirrors edge series, ect.
They’re beautiful.
But that’s not the important part of gaming.
It just needs to play well.
I’m not joking about that btw.
Give me a game that plays well and has a lot to do, and looks like a ps1 or ps2 game, il be happy.

The legend of zelda is pretty much my favorite series.
But no I dont.
I played every 3d zelda, and I missed out on breath of the wild.
But its probably for the best I didnt get anymore Nintendo systems after the wii, Nintendo got pretty scummy after that.

Yeah its kinda sad, the PS4 version has had issues since this game launched, which is funny considering that the PS4 was their intended system to release it on.
On PS5 it runs ok but when there is alot of shit going on in the match it still has its moments.
If you don’t have a PS5 or a decent PC then good luck playing this shit.

Well I had a PS4 when this came out and played it on that originally.
Then got a PS5 and have been playing it on that.
So it seems that this is alot of “your assumptions” in this reply.
