Why do you think this is? Was the game rushed ?

No offense but do you have any proof that the game is rendering an ungodly amount of triangles more than your usual games? Or is it that the map is mainly jungle and constantly visible and it would be very difficult for the engine to do render lower polys on thing unseen to the viewer? If there is a benchmark test for visible polys I would like to see this and prove your right.
And btw the game doesn’t look as bad as you describe it. There is nothing wrong with the models, just that the lighting is rather plain.

Have you calmed down a bit mass?

I love that as an actual function for the bow. I rarely to never use charged shots. So, I would prefer it to have a switch button like with some of the automatic gun’s.

That would make a lot of sense.

That was also something that the bow bug didn’t bother me as much as most others. I was fine with the bow not being chargeable, so may as well could have stayed or the function being added. Reworking the bow should be still allowed (I hope, not sure with the lawsuit; but bow is already implemented, so a rework should be fine)?

Or instead of that you could modify it in the customisations/options and choose if charged shot should be enabled/disabled.
I think there is this modification with in the modes for Private Match?

You can make it so ranged weapons don’t charge up , but still fire fully charged shots

No the aim button is changed to a quickshot fire in the Private match modificiation. So basically you shoot only when your crosshairs are pointed directly at the enemy. (this is what we thought was a bug during one release but actually i’m sure it was the coding for this mod which suddenly appeared in our game)

With macros though this quickshot is an assignable to any mouse button available and works in clash and hunt.

I’m not appealed in macros and rather would love to have this ā€œbugā€ as you call it as an actual feature for the bow.

It’s possible to charge the bow and then run around, leap etc, while still keeping the bow fully charged and even avoiding the 10 second rule where it will automatically release. Ready to be fired off instantly at any time. šŸ˜›

Yes.
And don’t worry, i’d never use exploits against other players, i only experiment with things so i can report them to illfonic, hoping that they’ll fix their game, but maybe i’m hoping for too much, their response is kind of poor.

Both, it’s an exploit which you use macros to perform.

the amount of triangles has nothing to do with how it looks. textures, shapes, models, they all look outdated, same for movement animations.

you know this game’s mechanics were ripped from Unreal’s stock right? There is literally another game that has the same downed animation (pose and movement) and mechanic to revive so im not surprised if FT has stock running/jumping/throwing animations. I only know Pred’s got mocap.
tbh, i have seen better textures in other games. They really didnt go that far with their shaders complexity.
But whatever dude, its great in my book. At least good enough for this game.
But i can tell there isn’t much use of lighting as there is in the Main menu or Long Claims.
