There alot of things in the game that have issues a good fire team member I understand with the 1v1 situation do able but you gotta have the syringes to even pull it off as it gives constant regen while you wait for stam to come back to continue parrying also. But you only have 2 of those so you could waste 1 fire team meds completly. Also a tip they can replenish those meds through ammo crates scattered on the map as it gives 1 back per use so destroying these if you do seem them effects fire teams.
Should knifes break?
Honestly I have never seen a game where a pred does that… i tried doing that a few times but never noticed the ai to search for the FT. They kinda just wait…was this after the update or before?
Before if the fire team close enough they tend to wander in the direction of the fire team they won’t actively chase them but if close enough they tend to wander where they are but it like a radius they usually have to be on just the outskirts of where there about. So if you do know a fire team in an area of an alarm you can just set it off yourself and watch the ai go for them one way to give players away is annoying ai aggro.

Cool. Ik this is off topic but one thing that affected my pred play… was the new update… not for the same reasons as everyone else though. Playing pred… when the match started u could click the touch pad.(idk what it is on pc) and it would tell you the name of the mission right under the map name. And since I always played FT i knew where to go 247. 😭😭😭 but this update took that away… and I kinda miss it. It’s for the best though
I do understand nice to have that little bit of info and I main on ps4 no idea on the pc part either
my 2 cents.
given the massive time it takes to change weapons as pred, unless you want to jump in do a few hits of melee and jump out.
Most pred weapons (disk and stick excluded), allow you to use the wristblades at the same time.
My personal approach when it comes to close combat is throw some melee until they pull the knife, then quick fire plasma or arrows into them then go back to melee.

I’ve actually encountered someone do that with the bow and it really devastating as like you said they pull the knife out you back of and point blank shoot the arrows in them downs them so quickly. I actually find it hard to reposition due the pressure it put on you so quickly.

Understand what you mean, but if pred would be able to do what you want… We would give the melee spammers no reason to apply thought or strategy. The parry mechanic as it is, is intended to stop melee spamming. It would make games very boring.
They want you to stay unpredictable and strategic as pred.

i just waited 15 min to play as pred, get bodyblock inside a room and get stabbed to dead by four players.

You’re not supposed to actually go inside with the fireteam you’ll get stabbed to death. Valuable lesson but yeah even when they’re downed they can bodyblock the doorway.
Melee arrow melee is usually a dead ft. It throws them off so hard. Also be stealthy… even in predators the katana guy solod a bad blood…

I’ve dealt with a ft that can parry good but it’s not game over predator 🥢 so many other options
its a lesson indeed, shame that i will not get any rematch since im been waiting 19 min to play as pred again and nothing…
im a ps4 player in south america and really theres no much incentive in owning this game.
Theres no point either in wait for a new patch or something so its better to uninstall the game until eventually it comes free with playstation plus.

I think you are very brave running into a room with 4 fire team members. I would avoid that because its very risky.
