Set them to what you have.
If he’s silent it because his settings are off. All three boxes should be checked.
I promise you thats the issue. If they dont wanna be heard or outted (for eating ass like my friends) they’ll lie and say its on but its not.
The last box is specifically for Party Chat to be broadcasted/recorded in videos. The others are for in game chats
This me, Drak, Kalyp and Ven in a party chat last night on a few rounds.
You can’t hear most likely due to settings. Mind you settings on firmware updates sometimes reset and turn off alone.
This is the same night, minutes after I left P:HG and joined my other friends.
As you can hear its more than the four people playing, one on RDR2, DBZ Fighters and rest of us yelling at each other in kitchen. Except our one guy whose muted because he has a whole crazy set up for audio (running wires and switch splitter to PC/PS4 and two monitors)

My friend has al, if his audio options checked the same as my audio options above. Is there some privacy settings that are someplace else blocking his audio from being captured?
Possible but do it from broad cast and share play menus because people say they do but resets happen sometimes
I save all of my venom for vigorously criticizing FT members who play selfishly and go off on their own.
It is certainly not the Predator’s fault if they capitalize on poor play by the FT.

When I get home I’ll run through menus and make sure i didn’t miss anything
Drakos and I just realized our settings were turned off for audio sharing so they are all turned on now and you’ll be able to pick up our voices in future recording.
I need you to say the mini gun line when we hear pred next time 😂

Alright went through everything I could think of. Sorry Im still on this but I wanted to help a best possible.
1 - make sure they went into share/audio/broadcast settings and did it or checked and its not just them saying they did. People say they did then it turns out its not on
2 - very Unlikely but NAT error could mute them but also means you have trouble hearing them.

1: Audio share settings.
These are boxes for the individuals, you on your console only. For parties all players need to have these on if they wanna be heard.
2: SharePlay Button Type/Setting.

If you set this to EASY SCREEN SHOTS:
You can HOLD down the share button during games and a short menus pops up. You must be in a game application, not youtube or PS title menu.
Choose “Video Clip”
A white sub bar pops up saying video clip saved.
- This will save everything in the time frame you have preset. Meaning PREVIOUSLY. That way you dont have to “start” recording, but can instead save what just happened (Basically Your PS “never stops” recording)
I use 15 mins because memory/quality files.

I have my audio settings so that I can’t be recorded, given some of the vitriol that comes out of my mouth at times it’s for the best😈
We both updated party settings to allow our voice to be shared! I think that should fix it 👍
