Slam is near too weak atm, when i see the pred hand light mid leap up i smile a big one because i know that he will get Sw’d every single time the only use it has is LOS leap slam or roof slams.

Everything that does damage in this game does it’s set damage. Why should the slam be any different? Kind of like predators saying they accept knife damage but it should only ever get them down to 1HP. That sort of stuff will never happen.
The mechanic is game-breaking. Illfonic is addressing the issue so I no longer need to prove why this is an exploit. Have fun with it while it lasts.

Double slam is being addressed. @Courier mentioned in another thread if you care to find it.
Surely the through roof damage will be changed so it isnt game breaking as well. This mechanic will be under a magnifying glass surely.
Again proving you are defending a mechanic that is an exploit that you love to use.

I’m sure double slam is being addressed but it seems no one has said anything about roof slams. It is however something you would like changed which is fine but different to a dev saying it.
Perhaps it is you who cannot find the counter play to roof slams and instead just wants it changed…hmmm?

Yes…and he’s saying it would be a big nerf to preds which it would be. At pub level I’m fine with all manner of nerfs to predator but that’s random uncoordinated players. At high level play predator needs buffs.
The single and only thing I have a problem with is the capability of the predator slamming through buildings to win the game.
Even only using that 1 move.
How and why is that okay?

If a predator doesn’t slam roofs he’s forced to rush in to a room filled with guns ready to light him up, don’t like roof slams? Then don’t hide next to eachother in buildings you scrub.
Because if you realize the pred is just slamming over and over move to an open area instead of hiding in a building?
As fireteam you are literally safest in the open where you have mobility and can strafe in any direction to dodge whatever the predator throws at you and shoot back for a fair trade. If you want to get stay inside a building interacting with objectives and gathering vera while the pred is quick claiming your teammates outside that’s your misplay. Buildings and corners and breaking line of sight are your enemy not your friend.
Yes if I see four of you hiding crouched under the docks or running into a little hut to gather veratanium im going to get an easy slam on all of you for half your hp each because all of you being in there to take damage at once is an absolutely idiotic play. You can’t just blindly do the objectives with 0 awareness of the predator.
If he downs someone in the building how about all of you don’t run in there like lemmings to try to pick him up?
