The marketing for this game has been disappointing. Add to that the very negative reviews at launch, no release on Steam for a year and no release on XBOX, plus the lack of content and yeah… player base isn’t getting any bigger.
So! It seems we have a untapped group of fans!

Bet it can get bigger, if anything I still see a lot of new players entering the game every time I log on.

I am apprehensive, with the way a chunk of the community still holds this game (the minority that continue to just shitpost and break the game “in an effort to show what needs to be fixed”) that 20th century or Disney would ever want to provide quality content to the community that treats ANYTHING with the Predator name or franchise the way it has been.
I believe the game was supposed to launch the hype. The announcement of the new movie was supposed to be hype.
All this community has done (select few that actually have been constructive instead of destructive) has shown that they’d just throw away anything with the franchises name attached to it and would rather see it die, instead of genuinelly loving Yautja and the franchise as a whole.
Here’s to hoping man. I want to see this turn into a snowball effect of other Yautja filled endeavors or games.

Do you think the Disney CEO is going down the line or something browsing Illfonic’s twitter or something? You know Sony’s the publisher?
Not that disney had any confidence in this franchise to begin with, it’ll likely never see a theatrical release again till like AvP reboot 2330. But that has fuck all to do with this game or the people replying to their twitter or much less posting here.
This game flopped at beta announcement with 0 advertising, they never thought it was going to be successful ever from the very start but you flipflop between complaining about 10 people bitching here and twitter, to also joining in on the bitching while continuing to preach from the holy youtuber ivory tower of 10000 hours of streaming a game that just ran in circles bleeding players since launch.
Botching steam launch that hard should’ve been an obvious indicator no one gave a shit, not Illfonic and not the publisher. Illfonic’s content with however long they’re supposed to work under this contract dripfeeding content that’s been delayed for who knows how long and then they’re dipping.
If they declared “thanks for playing, it’s end of service in September” you’d still be complaining about how its the community’s fault for not buying more bundles & complaining about audio bugs.
Don’t take it too personally but redirect your content creator stockholm syndrome elsewhere. It’s like 10 people coping here with memes and then there’s 10 other people coping by blaming anyone but the devs for the state of the game.
Useful idiots did the same exact thing with Evolve, coping until the very end and then still blaming the consumer for complaining about product.

Fr tho, the less savory users of this forum would like an honourable mention (i.e. the people who use memes and verbal abuse to cope with the dev’s crippling failure).

Easy kills are boring af. Sure, it’s helpful when I’ve had a shitty day, but boiling potatoes is only fun up until a point. I want someone with the same skill lvl as me, that is to say, I’m not getting shit on constantly and I’m not breezing through them like it’s nothing.
Eh I guess you have a point, I just got finished facing off against a death squad. But I think facing off against lower levels kinda helps both parties for the people who are better trained it counts as a breather from facing death squads, for the newbies it basically shows what’s to come and how they could benefit from it
Unless the experienced people are facing noobs who don’t even know how to shoot 24/7. Like I said, it gets old fast.
