Well no I mean…I’m trying to prove that this isn’t a bug or glitch but just a pred style so…yeah.
On the backwater map, I have the impression that the predator came from the bottom of the church, but I can’t confirm it, but he didn’t go against us or attack us from the side. It was from behind. And my team started near the base with a big satellite. The game has some mechanisms that a random respawn near FT wouldn’t allow, right?
Basically yes.
So if you started at the village off to the side of the compound with the big satellite. Where were you when he hit you?
In front of the gates of the area just a few meters from the fencing. We went through a canyon on a hill and then the attacks began from behind
You should have recorded it. 10 seconds sounds very fast. However if the Pred had a certain setup (that included long jump) them it might be feasible. With my standard setup which doesn’t include long jump I can often get to FT between 20 to 30 seconds.
Okay. Hard to be exact with out video or picture but it sounds like you were behind and to the left of the big satellite?
If he spawned in at the very bottom there, easily would have been on you from that time.
According to the picture, it was in the upper right corner. And from there we went to the base with a big satellite
My scout with long jump and adrenal will be on you before you’re finished mudding up.
Then by the time you reached there, if he spawned in at the lower right corner, he would easily be on you.
I journeyed to another dimension where your language was interpreted more clearly in english. This is what i found:
I’m sure its possible if the predator did a quick target isolation and b-lined it directly to you. I never do that ever because i’m not timing myself on clearing the FT as quick as possible. I always like to get them after some time. but thats just me. im in no rush.
Sounds like a you problem, to me sounds like it’s an easy win for FT when your prey comes to you.
I know the predator spawns in faster then the ft. And if you have good stamina and long leap the can try to guess where you will spawn. It does kinda get annoying sometimes. But I haven’t seen it for a small bit
Not every predator has the same tactics. Some are really in a hurry to end the game as soon as possible and then win. Others prefer to beat FT in the beginning to do more to leave one last man alive to call for reinforcements. And then he starts hunting again if the predator is lucky and thus kills the whole FT again. In addition, he will receive a higher rating from the entire match. Too fast a game means a small rating and the game experience is not much. And they have no tactical or strategic deployment and deployment. But it’s really individual that it can’t play with the same commitment
Because absolutely no one asked, I’ll give you a run-down of my usual thought process and approach to playing as Pred (though this can change depending on my mood/if I’m tired).
I’ll try and find and engage the FT as fast as possible - from this first encounter I’ll hope to get a basic idea of the skill level of the FT (I’ll also take a quick look at the classes and specializations and take this into account).
Now, if I think I have a team/group who aren’t particularly skilled, or maybe one is, but the rest are casuals, I’ll try and take my time and have a bit of fun (hopefully for them as well) stalking and taking potshots at them.
If I think I have a decent team of players, I’ll switch to ‘game on’ mode and do my best to just wear them down and claim them as fast as possible.
I think for most Pred mains this isn’t even a consideration anymore as once you hit level 150 there is zero incentive to play in a way that produces XP gain. Preds are more likely to take into account the amount of time they’ve just waited in a queue to get in a game - this is more likely to persuade them to try and make the game last as long as possible.
Ive had this happen before to me, a zerker on my group within 10s of the match. I think it was very lucky/error and iv not seen it since.
I’m one of those preds that can get across the map at a stupid speed and did with my scout but never that quickly before.
I put it down to a bug personally and he got nuked shortly after that lol.
I have a video on my Yt of killing two players at there spawn on derailed.
On excavation if I use my speed scout build I can watch the ft come down the ropes if they spawn behind the makeshift camp. Its hilarious
That’s ridicules.
It is yes but sometimes they either pick the wrong spawns or the Predator player just knows the maps better
At least there is a helicopter and they rappel
I figured they would just pop in like the AI
