Only if there’s cross over lobbies with PHG. If you have one of the 2 games you should be able to join the other game in a special mode, with more options available to you if you have both games.

It would be an interesting way for games to evolve, each with there own team but built so they share a common code.
As a Predator, you could fight Colonial Marines and Xeno’s in the future as they’re very long lived, using you PHG Pred would just be cool. Having a separate game that takes place in the future that is centred around the Aliens and marines, that plays like the sister game to PHG would be awesome.

I was referring to your original post. The upcoming Alien game might be cool but considering it’s troubled development cycle, I’m not going to get hype till I see something from it.

I don’t think it likely illfonic would develop parallel games at this point in PHG’s life but who knows how this game might grow in 2 years. That Alien game might stall or be a dud and then illfonic might be in a position to do the parallel game thing.

Ah, well, and I feel like if any of the past games they’ve worked on or supported reflect on this one this game might be gone in 2 years. It isn’t currently in the greatest spot. They have some great designers, but how they go about running their games is poor in the sense of they don’t really talk to the community or let them know what is going on which is disappointing. There also doesn’t seem to be hardly any tests ran before releasing new content and it really hurts them. We also have the issue of lack thereof content that the community actually wants. And, honestly I am glad to see them space out updates for better quality updates because it may be the only thing that saves this game. And I want this game to keep going, but the rate its going its not going well. They need a bigger team and more people on forums reviewing and responding to each bug to investigate and get it fixed right away. But, I fear they are already at the stage of too little too late and won’t be going with this project anymore after spring much less this holiday.

The first 1 year of the games life, especially in this genre, matters. We haven’t had a perfect start, but that won’t determine it in the long run.
I was being optimistic in my last post, at least in regards to PHG. I don’t disagree they need more people, they are looking and have job openings for people with the right coding credentials.

That mode was so good! I remember there was even a dedicated “screech” button for the aliens to communicate with each other.
I really wish I could play that again :(
