Sprint/ shoulder charge idea

Make it take a TON of stamina so they cant attack

It would have to have a lot of active frames so that it could go through multiple players in case they line up behind one another.

Could be a problem. I think the easiest way is to have it where the predator can move FT out of the way simply by moving into them. Now that I think about it this could also be problematic. This image comes to mind

Yes, its not realistic to block it, you know what else its not realistic? The predator taking sniper shots to the head. If someone is inside a building, smash him with range weapons and finish him in the same way. Don’t go inside. If the FT is able to pull this off, why should they not be rewarded? Its not easy to trick the predator to go inside a building with 1 door.

A super squad of elite marines splitting up is also not realistic! Splitting up is a FT’s decision but a stupid one. So if the predator get’s protection from HIS stupid decision, FT should also get it! If you’re alone and the pred attacks you, you should get instantly teleported to the other FT members.

I keep seeing predators asking for nerfs even when they do something out of their own decision and that is what is getting them killed, you could try not doing it in the future instead? This game has very little tactical play, making it even less is absurd. If you overcomit inside a building with 1 door and they trick you to do that, you should be punished for it and not rewarded with a kill and then with an easy way out.

Oh yeah I’d be all for it, shoulder charge, bitch slap…anything that could move those unreasonably sturdy humans out of the fuckin way, thus killing some of the exploits.

But…I don’t think they ll rework collision and physics from scratch only to make this work. I think it’s unlikely. As always, I’d love to be surprised

If it’s only for escaping, I’m less against it but still not really a fan.

Maybe a slight push back if second wind is activated. So you can push your way out of a room or corner.

Why should you push yourself out of a corner or room? If you got yourself there you should die, next time don’t get stuck like that. Then again asking for buffs instead of correction and obvious mistake… Its more easy. How many actions can the FT take that puts them in very vulnerable positions? Should we remove those as well?

I agree.

If you feel confident your target is alone and he is in a building. Check the building, how many exits. Where do I go. Plan your entire attack before you go in. This game is about skill. Do you think a professional hitman just shoots and then thinks. Well fuck what do I do now?

No they plan how they go in how long they can stay there and where and how to go out.
Swift and decisive. With skill…

Ask for a fix not a buff.

What are you Han Solo lol this not bf2

PH:G general - We want city maps

Also PH:G general - Wtf no pred shouldn’t have a mechanic to escape being bodyblocked in doorways and knifed to death thats fair they just shouldn’t be in rooms or doorways

You all deserve jungles forever.

It’s illfonic they’d probably just reuse the downed/revive animations instead of ragdolls. That said, FT does have some transitional jelly state where they become a physics worm when you drop them from a long claim. Wouldn’t be surprised if we get knockdowns eventually.

I thought about that, and I am not an expert by any means, but it’s possible that this is exaclty why it’s gonna be unlikely: we have either concrete blocks phyisics OR unconfortaby chaotic ragdolls…imagine if they tried to convert the first into the latter as soon as you perform the ā€œpushā€ as predator…it would be insane… Incredibly funny, but awful at the same time.

Nothing wrong with concrete block physics tbh as long as they remove pred collision with the knocked guy, biggest struggle seems to be the laziness around FT animations as they barely have any at all, reusing downs seems straightforward enough.
Rather block physics for practicality than bitchslapping the FT and he morphs into a jelly worm until he hits the ground both sound fun but the latter would be a buggy mess.
