Always run impenetrable? I assume most predators run large pouch and medic.
I guess impenetrable does not effect the NRV-E because you’ll always get 158 base damage.

There was a period in time where Impen was useless because it didn’t activate against Hipfire Damage. So most people took it off their loadouts and didn’t use it for a few months as a result. Presume most people aren’t usig Impen still as a result.
I think both are overpowered.
Mostly because the NRV-E can shoot through branches, 2 hit alarms, 1 hit most AI, does AOE damage, ignores impenetrable, the suppressor doesn’t lower the damage, and the base damage is slight over 10% more than the 7EN. The projectile doesn’t matter much, because, at 300 m/s, it feels like hit scan at normal gameplay range.
Now about the SAWZ50 on Isabelle, you could have distance buff, sniper buff, and Bane on the SAWZ50, so at 50m you could get 331 damage per hit.
@OldKingHamlet and @Courier not sure if you guys check these forums anymore, but please put in a word with whoever is in charge to get a hotfix out sooner than a month from now.

6 perk points is a lot. I would be willing to bet most people that run impenetrable are only doing it on Elder, alpha, and scout.
Comparing to other sniper rifles it’s just worse. It has less ammo and deals less damage, also you rarely land your shots cause it’s projectile-based.
It seems ok in theory, but in practice it sucks.

If you guys don’t know, all the projectile weapons work worse at high ping. I don’t like ping dependant weapons in this game.
It has the second highest Damage Per Hit, just as much ammo as the 7EN, and it ignores branches. Are you sure “it’s just worse,” because it seems too strong to me.
Why would you take 7EN when SAWZ exsist?
It igonres the branches, but it’s projectile-based and that makes it automaticly weaker than SAWZ.

As I’ve stated for a long time now, the sawz50 is overpowered and unbalanced, in my opinion.

Your main task is to kill the pred, not to hunt the AI. Ignoring the impenetrable is not really useful when you don’t hit pred at all.
As I said before, it would be very useful, if it wasn’t projectile based.
If you can’t hit Pred that’s on your aim.

With the new sniper rifle you’ll have that issue pretty often.
Please, show me the matches against strong pred players, where this gun shows its effectiveness, I’ll be waiting.
My aim is just fine. The problem is that the projectile guns are not suitable for this game.

Yeah, down range, large pouch, medic, lens are more usefull than impenetrable. I don’t think any top pred uses impenetrable in their best builds. Won’t make much difference against 4 players that can give you a lot of damage.
Its not just about aiming at the target, you need to consider the time it will take for the projectile to reach it + how the high ping will affect it in case you have it.
I have been able to shoot Preds into second wind while they are leaping mid air with this sniper but its harder to time the shoot to do that, you need to predict where the target will be by the time the projectile arrives there. I’m okay with it overall, shooting the Pred through branches is fun. But Sawz is still the best one, if the player goal is to win that will still be their choice.
