Stop buffing the predator and nerfing the fireteam!!!!

I see this Post as more or less a rant because it sounds like you’re not doing so hot.

I was playing earlier today as my Scout (as opposed to my regular Berserker) and noticed that if I engaged too hard my Lifebar melted away. I had to stalk from a distance and engage from a distance with my Bow instead of going all aggro. The Match lasted longer as well. But holy crap can the Scout move. Their speed is their best asset.

The AI is only a problem when they gang up on you. And if they set the Alarm off, you’re being too sloppy. I had one Match in particular where I saw the last Fireteam Member get downed inside the 2 Story Building at the Dishes in Backwater. I ran in without paying attention and immediately Long Claimed. I was then melted by about 9 AI Grunts, Firing Squad style.

Just in case people don’t know. If the predator successfully self destructs, the fireteam doesn’t get a win, at least when it comes to the challenges.

Most of my balance suggestions center on increasing the number of battles with the predator. It’s not like I don’t want the predator to win. I just want to discourage predators from getting trophies on the first engagement. You can get a quick claim by killing the same person three times. That’s how most quick claims should be earned, unless you catch someone a little too far from their teammates.

Yeah wow getting farmed for multiple downs via caster or bow so much better than a quick claim mercy kill that’s more easily punished. Then you have to wait out the rest of the game waiting for everyone else to get downed 6 times awesome.

@Finessology
Hopefully there would be a reinforcement along the way, but, yes, that’s what I’m talking about.

The Predator is by no means 0P your team obviously isn’t good and first of all everyone going to complain anyways if you read through most of these forms fireteams want this game to be easy if so I mean go play Call of Duty. Both sides are unbalanced especially if you have a team that just likes to constantly ride each other for the whole game there’s nothing Predator players can really do so the needs to be some form of balancing they need to make a i harder do something

problem is half ft are potatoes. Ill do 2500 dmg to a predator and everyone else 100 or 200 dmg

you can throw a disc you can pounce there are many things that can be done

so then predators will just blow them up

It’s really not worth the risk tho you know lol I like to wait till they call chopper 1st when they play like that lol they dont focus period

All sarcasm btw

I remember the last time I played Pred, I saw a Fireteam that didn’t group up at all, tried to Reinforce, but the other two guys went for Objective. I picked em off and was genuinely confused as to what the other one was doing, somehow, the last guy had amassed a train of 15 or so+ A.I and was getting trashed by them. He was trying to heard them around like it was COD Zombies. So I personally have to take Fireteam Main inputs with grains of salt.

What? No way. I thought you gave a thoughtful, sincere answer. Haha.

Completely disagree, the balance is pretty good.

I play both sides, when FT I see lots of predators rushing in and dying real quick, espescially when I start aiming for the head.

As a predator against PS4 players is more easy, but against PC players, sometimes feel like the one being hunted. They spot you in no-time, and even when invisible standing still behind a car or building, they just guess that is likely where you are and take a shot to check if you are.

So in my opinion, balance is good. If you find a good FT you can make things REALLY hard for the predator.

thing is people are getting better and dont play 10 predator games a day… the maps are syncing in and in essence they are learning how to play
