Streaming PHG to Twitch (Recommendations)

15 minutes matches for me take 3-4 GB of space.

Yeah, thats what i’m looking at. So do they use their own proprietary capture files? or standard uncompressed h264 mp4s? i’m imagining that and having to go to Camtasia to rock it all together.

After I press to stop the recording, its saved like per example: Predator Hunting Grounds_2021.10.12-19.24.mp4 (date followed by time of the start of the recording) on the folder I set it on. Seems like a normal mp4 file.

If I’m gonna upload to YouTube I capture a lossless video file then upload it, YouTube re-encodes them anyway to fit their allowed bitrate. When I stream I do a lot of testing for that specific game to see which settings will provide a better stream quality. Funny how the settings change depending on the game you’re streaming. I was telling jelou earlier AC Valhalla gives me the most problems when streaming, it’s just a bitch to stream that game. But PHG is a piece of cake with the hardware I have.

yeah, i know youve been ddoing these captures since launch. I’m only fiddling with the idea. If there is another DLC that gives this game life, i might consider doing this as a little project. But you do it to the extent of zen, so I don’t think its really necessary.
The community needs good captures, without commentary. soo…bravo dude, you rock. Sometimes i might just play your Youtube clips to start my day. You can’t believe how gorgeous this game is when you’re just a spectator.

Well thank you, that’s good to hear. I do enjoy rewatching some of my matches when I’m bored, I agree there, on good settings the game can look great and is entertaining to watch.

Hhaha, I play ACV on my PS4 pro. so …its a little hmm and hmmm and lately the updates for that game is like hrmmmm…shit. i can’t tell you how a love hate i have with that game. Boring as fuck because its repetitive, but gorgeous as fuck that i love sitting there and playing for a half hour.

Try it PC max settings it looks absolutely gorgeous. It’s one of the most beautiful looking games I’ve ever played.

Check out this past stream I did

oops. deleted my own post. To reiterate. Done 85% of alliance map. A real grind. Then the dreadful story with scar-ridden peoples didn’t really compell me. Totally went off on Romance tangents, the main character can’t see straight resorting to Mushroom Therapy. This game is a real curse. No real reality keeping things together. I know it is sim viking territory but WTF! I think they put too much content when they really didnt need it. How many more dlcs will they release for this shit? Holy fuck! I bet you their development time went 3 years too long.

Hahaha…come on, be a true assassin brah! Just chill and kill. No but seriously, the last DLC was kinda meh. I still love the series tho, some games more than others, but I hope for some pc optimization because the game feels so laggy even when I get more then 100 fps.

Have you tried the river raids? Those are fun.

Oh BTW, the druids DLC was amazing I think!

I’ve done 20-30 too many.

the druids

I admit i have no idea about this.lol

I love the series too. But they are hella bloated. i really wanted to finnish the AC in France…Unity is it? But man, …the problem is you need to play these games when they are released and really not play anything else. Because if you get in too late, you’re going to be playing other games which take up alot of time too. AC Origins was the only game that I’ve actually completed 100% with all DLCs. That game was no more and no less than a perfect game. They did that proper. The games that came before and after were possibly bloated in budget and scope (ACV included).

I agree 100% Origins was just perfect and Bayek is by far my favorite assassin.

Bayek deserves a TV series with Ridley SCott. And he got it.

You are right. In most cases, this game will look horrible on Twitch, especially if you will use OBS or Geforce streaming applications. I suppose this happens because these apps don’t support the color and gamma of this game. I acknowledged that if you try the Movavi streaming application, the quality on Twitch will be much better. Of course, if you turn on the specific setting described in this article https://www.movavi.com/support/how-to/how-to-capture-streaming-video.html. Let me know if you need any help setting Movavi streaming for Twitch. I will be glad to help you.
