Can confirm, I was getting stomped during every class with that build this week (last week)
Been stomping with Valk/Ghost/Fearless/Axe like crazy. I use adrenal boost and medic, just so I can leap around and have more hits, and heal quickly if needed. I haven’t tried this glitch method though, because of the Ghost spec, but I’ll have to give it a try now.

You can parry it, but the predator doesn’t get stunned for too long.

In 1v1 scenarios, Pred will win 100% of the time against any of the top tier FT players, unless pred doesn’t know what is doing.
As much as many people deny this, they know better and get really salty when they lose like this
Now in all honesty, all I need is one good team player to beat most average/decent preds 99% of the time. And I’m not even that good. Other player doesn’t even have to be on discord, PC or anything. Just needs to be decent enough to keep close and help, instead of walking around like a headless chicken.
But again, in 1v1 scenarios, with damage as it is right now, any FT will go down, unless pred is a retard (which most are)

Honestly the Valk Buff would have been okay, if they just didn’t give her the Melee Damage Passive. She doesn’t need it.
She doesnt have extra melee damage passive. Tested it on privates.

So… all the people doing this right now are knowingly exploiting a bug in the game, but nobody will ever call them cheaters…

Haven’t seen you hop into the discords lately to play FT with the guys but trust me, every night we play pretty much every pred that uses the axe does exactly this. Now I know why.
I haven’t played that much lately, just some ft matches in the afternoon sometimes. Did like 3 Pred matches in this morning and was done for the day.
I don’t think most of those players know of this damage bug, alternating between light and heavy attacks just seems like a good way to attack.
Like how I did with the Katana, I always alternated between attacks since it was released, the heavy does this pushing forward attack which is good to decrease the distance between you and the ft then I followed it with 2 light attacks. I just liked the look of that combo attack, I had no idea the damage while doing that was bugged do more than it should, I was exploiting that for months without knowing it.
I will join you guys some other day to play some pubs and see if I can find some Axe preds to fight.
I don’t think they know is a bug, but for sure they know is a broken one hit down to most classes and that’s why they (ab)use it.

I don’t think most players know. The only reason I caught it was because my brother joined me in some FT games and, due to lag, he saw two instances of damage from one hit. After that, we reviewed the Gameplay recording, and I did some testing in private matches for confirmation.
Sorry. I just realized you meant intentionally using this recommended build. Sure, it’s exploitive, but really the blame is on illfonic.
I tested Valk Ghost with Fearless. Heavy hit does 167 dmg.
So yeah, not broken at all ( insert sarcasm here ).
And saying buff to Valk is fine, ok, balanced?
Full HP pool, full stamina, CH speed, 14 perks, Ghost, Fervent, Savage specs and faster stamina regeneration after each melee hit?
That’s balanced and ok? Yeah, if you’re a potato wheelchair Pred who couldn’t win anything against potatoes with crossplay off with non OP Pred.
I’m gonna make sure to nerf that bs to the ground.

Consciously abusing a busted pred class/spec/perks/weapon combo = dev’s fault
Cousciously abusing a busted ft class/spec combo = player’s fault
People seem to only blame the player of exploiting/cheating when it’s ft, but as always, anything that is pred related is just fine.
God forbid you use field medic, tracker, pdl, rush the mission, etc… you become a no-skill, worthless, pos if you do.
Sorry, but it doesn’t work that way. People that abuse busted pred mechanics fall in the same shit category. There is no need to “test” shit when you see evidence of it from other people. As I’ve said before, if someone has the balls to say “I do it cus I want to, so what?” I respect the honesty, specially if they are skilled players, because clearly they don’t need to do it to win. Sometimes it’s fun to do stupid things. There is no need to hide behind finger pointing, blaming the devs, or playing stupid like “I didn’t know” or “I’m just testing”.

I already mained the axe on my wrathful Alpha (screw Ghost lol) before the buff and in all honesty, it is seriously OP now.
The Problem I see with it is not the high damage, but how fast you can do the second attack after the first heavy swing.
The combination of a secondary attack followed by a fast primary is just too fast now, it kills anybody in less than 2 seconds.
Damage wise it was already good, but the slow attack speed made it balanced.
I was even able to win against Psychobabas and the others using it. Me!!! Even though I’m inferior to you guys.
Doesn’t that already show how op it is???
That said, I have a great time one-hitting people out of nowhere even better now, but it feels ridiculous.

And yet it didn’t work in the second match, despite the high damage and speed you got melted before you could secure a kill, and that was due to damage coming from mainly me and Psycho, imagine if you had 2 more players that were giving you that same amount of damage as well, or more than us. We were completely separated and screwing around in there, you didn’t even go second wind during the quick claim. People using the rocket meme, people chasing you alone. Once I beat Gesp, Scarface, Voka and Dan with a Viking before preds had specs, I got lucky once, doesn’t mean my Viking melee build was op.
Aren’t you a day one player with like 2000 hours? You are fine as Pred for the most part and has a lot of experience on this game.
Thunder couldn’t win a match with Axe + Ghost in privates vs me and others when we actually try instead of trolling in the game like we usually do, so I doubt anyone else can.
You remember that I played with a completely different loadout in the 2nd Game?
The mistakes that got me killed we’re not related to using the Axe.
Being a Day 1 Player doesn’t automatically make me as good as others like you. You cannot compare my Performance with yours, I didn’t even own a PC for 6 years prior to PHG.
And god tier players like you beating inferior players who use OP weapons doesn’t make those weapons less overpowered.
You don’t represent the majority of Players and neither do I.
I use the Axe for half a year now and the combo damage you can do with it now is just ridiculous.
