I like this idea but it should have some prerequisites like opening the optional pod to get the location of a power weapon (item) on the maps or completing objectives a certain way, killing a certain amount of AI, etc. These should be hidden and spawn randomly to prevent experienced players from abusing spawn locations.

Now as a side note, sometimes, because the game is so fast paced, we think we are at full HP when really, we are not. It has happened to me a lot and when I go and review the video I see my mistake.
The game is not imbalanced. Right now it is as balanced as it has ever been, terribly balanced, as everyone deals way too much damage, but balanced indeed.
With 3 potatoes, against a pred that at least knows how to move around, you are gonna go down and your team will not help you

and of course, there’s also exploits which are becoming the norm once it got out thanks to guys complaining about dan and other players who were doing it. With weapon switch animation cancels I see more and more preds, even on console, being able to pull off consistent combo attacks that will down you in “one shot”. Most I’ve seen involve close range combi throw+wristblade, plasma+wristblade, bow+wristblade, bow+combithrow. Almost always is the Anal build (CityHunter+Analytic) and sometimes Samurai+Ghost. Those classes+specializations, equipped with down range and fearless… yeah… you going down boy

Haven’t watch BTL in like a year now, but anyway… my streams are just me and the boys cracking jokes while we drink and play. Some find it boring. Is not sweaty gameplay.

They could have used the weapons crates as a way for players to get extra powerful predator tech hybrid weapons. They could balance them by giving them limited and non-replenishable ammo. Such a missed opportunity.
