My hype for that game is about as high as me returning and playing PHG, Marvel’s Avengers, and Outriders.

I may be a Ghostbusters’ fan but I’m not as big of a fan as I am a Predator and Alien fan.

So I’m definitely not going to get it.

There has to be a significant factor to get it. Even TMNT Shredders revenge had me on the rails about getting it. Had it not been for all the video covereage I would have placed money down. But i got to see it all …can’t say i want it as much i thought i did before actually seeing someone play it.

I can’t say though if a newbie might buy it. I played the shit out of it back in the day and I don’t even remember buying it. Most likely I played it at the coin up arcades.

Has anyone seen the gameplay for their ghost busters game?…. It looks like absolute shit. How can any of you consider buying it, ugh.

I watched BTL’s videos on it, admittedly it does look like fun. It’s not a PS2 game, that’s such an extreme and biased over exaggeration. But it is wonky and has a lot of the same graphical issues as PHG. And I noticed you can practically speedrun matches, 3mins or less if you’re lucky to find all three portals immediately. Game leaves a lot of room for exploiting I feel

Of course it will, ghostbusters is more family friendly and more recognizable than pred. You’ll get nothing but potatoes and children swarming this game for at least 8 months before it dies down.

so far player base is 100% times better. They seem to be knowledgeable even when the game is far more complicated than PHG

I just wish more games had demos to try out.

Unfortunately you can still be fooled into buying a game even if you’ve seen it being played, or you play a demo/beta before it comes out.

That’s what happened to me with Marvel’s Avengers and Outriders. Saw some footage, play the demo/beta, and felt miserable playing the damn thing because it offered nothing but what the demo/beta showed.
