Another good one is āFaceā, itās what a specific clowns make-up looks like. Itās as distinctive as possible and rarely changes after becoming set by the character or role that clown plays.
The red nose is just called a nose, itās red because itās supposed to imitate the burst red capillaries in a drunks nose, it implies a certain amount of clumsiness or stumbling traditionally.
You know that clown school is a real thing right, that this stuff is actually taught like any other subject, with lectures, notes, tests and examsā¦ was going to make a rubber chicken joke but most people donāt realize why clowns pull them out of their pants, youāre probably working it out right now though.
