The current version is no fun.

Behold! The Yautja Bow!

True…but you need godlike aim and the little bastards to stay still for 3 seconds to be effective.

You can get in close and quickfire too

Players just need to dedicate time to learning

YES A LEARNING EXPERIENCE UNTIL YOU RECEIVED 7K OF AK DAMAGE IN THE ASS

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

tho its still fun.

It happens man. Win some lose some i see no difference

After my ADS bug? Jump down there and get lit up only to not be able to fire.

Nope…not trying that. Nonononononono.
I use the bow, not incredibly effectively but I do. From a distance, hidden, for first strike, till I’m spotted.

that was me as the designated victim :D

On ps4 they needed to buff the fireteam, it was far too easy as predator with the majority of the ps4 ft players struggling to hit their target unless it was close range and rarely able to spot using a control pad and most games were over quickly from a melee rush from the predator.

Obviously, with a pre-made team it can be different and I am guessing on pc the predator has a difficult time even against random groups.

Basically, it’s very hard to balance the game because of crossplay and for random and pre-made teams.

The predator has bow. Smart disc. And the combi stick can be throwin never mind the plasma pistol. Netgun. Plasma caster that are op since day one. People are just mad cause they got use skill and planning with the predator again its no longer as simple as dropping down hack and slash a team. Its why i stopped playing predator it was too easy. The recent updates were needed for Ft cause they been getting buffed on predator since the first patch. Get over it babiez u still got infinite heals and heal spawns on the map with the pigs if you cant win by having that then you dont deserve to win

Thanks for all the advice and input.
I’ll certainly admit that I’m not skilled enough.

But just before the new version comes out, I have to say.
The current version is not very fun.
Originally, long range was the sole domain of FT, but with this version, FT dominated short range as well.

No matter how much I improve, Predator will never be able to beat a FT party of the same level. It’s not the same height at the top.
Some people say that if you survive against PCFTs, you win if you survive, but that’s a loss.
I’ll try to get over it as a challenge.
But there are also insurmountable obstacles.

Pig spawn is still inconsistent as fuck… Preds get melted way faster now and are forced to take perks like impatient and large pouch to make up for the fact that you’re gonna get second winded, and there’s no guarantee you’re gonna get pigs, and if you do they spawn near the FT, so it’s a huge risk to try to munch one… Even if you kill the pigs to save for later they can respawn. Happens too damn often. Then there’s the off game where you get herds of the little fuckers spawning all over the damn map… So random.

I mean maybe there just testing damage across the board they haven’t found the sweet spot yet where both dont feel underpowered, maybe this next patch will adress some issue regarding balance.

there not going to take the PC premades into account considering I bet its under .5% of those premades winning…

Im gonna be honest here. When I play FT… I might as well play csgo or cod

im telling you right now as i prolly said a million times… If you kept dmg the same and readjusted the predator ads, hell if you allowed pred to shoot without using ads for close range… things be way fuckign different

That’s just called ‘pandering’ if people can’t handle losing then don’t play a pvp game.

But losing is part of experience you dont learn if you dont lose.

I fill the problem is not losing its losing so much that when you find something that works and works well you just use it tell someone complains and they nerf it or it stops working and you start looking for something that does. This can be applied to both FT and preds alike.

i have never had trouble finding pigs. they always spawn in like one of three areas on the map, when i played the predator i would kill any i came across so it allowed for more to spawn and it auto marks killed pigs on the map. Also i would jump into every major area where npcs were so that they set the alarm off and the FT always had a small army waiting for them there.

This is true but the most common reason is random ft can’t work together and feel they should be given victories.
