Champ, this forum has been more entertaining to see than playing this game. You can only hear peoples stupidity for a little bit whereas here you have characters like JoeHollywood for example that make it known to everyone daily. You get more drama here then a telenovela.

The fourms admittedly suck right now for that reason. You have shit posters not giving a damn, people who think being even half way decent on this game makes them a God, and no one even posts stuff about Bugs or Balance suggestions anymore with any effect much anymore because it actually just gets ignored on the sea of trash.

The balance threads and bug reports are still there they’re just being ignored. They say they do look at them and I believe them but what good is that when an update rolls out and not much has been fixed. People stopped giving a shit for this reason. @KameofWar listed off so many balance changes and bugs that have been an issue with this game since launch and yet they’re not even addressed. What else is left but shit posting or people coming on here to gloat about themselves.

Exactly. I’ve held off from posting what ideas or changes that I believe would change the game for the better objectively because I believe the Devs just will not listen and have their own peusdo-hardcore causal vision for the game at this point.
I have posted bugs before that have been noticed, but in that same vein I have posted bugs that have gone entirely unnoticed and even probably laughed at.

Basically. It’s a fun community all in all minus a few actual dust ups.
@Xenomorph_2099 General turning into a shit show is one thing but Bug Reports and Feedback are usually left alone and easy to sift through. Myself and just about everyone else has used them as intended with mixed results since the beginning. It is what it is but it’s not the fault of the community at large.

That’s fair. When I said argue, I didn’t mean “calling you a idiot” or whatever because that’s not what I want to do. I just want to see the game get better.
And ultimately, that starts with effort both from Illfonic as well as the community that still wants to see this game get better and not shitpost or throw a cocky statement for the thousandth time.

Oh I’d call somebody like Doodoo boys or people who do nonthing but cause problems and high school-tier drama all day genuine idiots, no doubt.
Now I’d probably get a suspension for that most definitely sure but at this point it’d be worth it to see em get taken down a peg. For the 10th or so time.

You’ve been around long enough to know the score though. People give incredibly good feedback and ideas, wish lists, etc. and it all gets “ignored” a lot is probably gag order off Sony or Fox or some other corporate overlord. A lot is simply not the direction Illfonic wants to take. Will never know either though because they don’t communicate for one reason or another (even so much as a flat no). It’s not because we’re toxic, more likely it’s just red tape.

Go for it, calling somebody an idiot here is like a toddler calling someone a poopy head. It doesn’t turn into real drama unless somebody gets triggered or starts throwing a few slurs here and there. Then it becomes fun.

I doubt that given OldKingHamlet’s statements on how they all or he views balance and gameplay occurrences on the Reddit.

If Fireteam gets Exfill at all, then either that means Predator was not controlling the situation at all or they rushed Mission. Leaning towards the former given that OKH said last 4 minutes. That never happens vs Good Players.

Out of Ammo? No good Fireteam sqaud is going to be completely out of Ammo unless Predator spends more time than recommended destoryed map spawns everywhere because Fireteam can get missions done in little as 2 to 3 minutes in some to most cases if they just focused up. And last 4 minutes? Unless the FT was getting distracted all the time, and wanted to fight with Pred to kill, then sure I can see that happening, but to win with Exfill, they are being slow movement wise or mission wise. Assaults can carry a Ammo Bag or a Health Bag without sacrificing a Syringe. Supports can carry both and gives everyone Prepper as a Passive. People can run Prepper anyway and not be in danger of running out.
I don’t mean to micro analyze every single statement, but at this point I feel as though I actually need to if I want to understand why the game is the way it is right now.
I’m a big fan of Occam’s Razor and to me the simplest solution is the vast majority of the player base is casual non competitive quick play players. So it makes sense to cater to them balance wise. If they made it too team based and co-op dependant they’d hurt that base. Thus the quick TTK we see now. Fast, frantic and casual
