The Player Observation Thread

Reading this again, this is super strict the most we’ve had are small tournaments where people still didn’t know how to play

Personally if I were to organize a tournament I would probably disallow the usage of overlays but I wouldn’t actually expect anyone to use them in the first place if they were serious

Edit: Wouldn’t

I think the worst case we had was Blaze who went full tryhard with shit and the overlay usage was somewhat disgusting

K lol

Glad we agree. 😉

It comes down to what rules all the players agreed on as long as it’s not being blocked by the anti-cheats. (like the rules of the private matches)

But for me, I want to go against or team up with great players,

If that white dot/overlay makes you a play better, I’m ok with that.

I just let you talk at this point, pretty much anything technical about the game you’ve ever said is debunkable anyways besides vague shit you reference from the internet which is also questionable sometimes due to poor retrofit and subjects that were already gone over years ago

For example I think you tried to link unreal documentation to Jelou or me but I had already sent that shit years ago lmao

Yeah that’s alright to an extent, there would possibly be special interaction with me personally had a fully blown highly restricted rule set been made, there is an extreme failure in the past with an alien ruleset created by this user

This was ridiculous for its time and what we actually knew about the game

There are also people that have dived the deepest into private games and are well executed such as Samhain, Gesp, and Thunderwolf specifically and what was generated from their ruleset is both sensible and fair

They legitimately have the most quality experience and possibly most developed balance retrospective that exists

You’re not “letting” me talk—you just ran out of arguments and fell back on personal attacks. Classic move when facts don’t go your way.

Yes, I shared official Unreal Engine documentation because the game runs on Unreal Engine. That’s called using a relevant, credible source. But I get it—you and Captain NO IFs over there probably think Blueprints replaced logic entirely, right? Must be wild developing whole games without if statements.

Also, how’s that modding career going, by the way? You cracked open some JSON files and suddenly thought you had the source code. That’s like opening a Word doc in a Notepad and claiming you reverse-engineered Microsoft Word.

You’re not a dev. You’re not fooling anyone. Dismissing actual documentation because it doesn’t fit your narrative doesn’t make you right—it just shows you’re in over your head and trying to save face.

Nope, there’s not a single thing you can actually bring up that I haven’t already sought to find the answers myself about overlays or provide a good argument to begin with

Same with anything will this game at least from you

I’ve tried to bring this up quite a few times and am very developed on the subject much more you possibly ever hope to accomplish

Straight up

Yeah without his pc deathsquad as backup he’s a straight potato.

Ah, I see—we’ve entered the “I know everything and you never will” phase of the conversation. No sources, no facts, just self-declared superiority. Classic.

You keep saying you’ve “already sought the answers” and you’re “very developed on the subject”—but all you’ve shown is a surface-level understanding based on unpacked assets and your personal opinion. Meanwhile, actual documentation and technical references are “vague” and “questionable” to you.

You don’t sound like someone informed. You sound like someone insecure that they got called out and now has to pretend they’ve ascended to some higher level of knowledge to save face.

Straight up.

Love how threads get derailed by Fairy’s ramblings. Ironic that its this thread.

Nope, I’m saying I have a lengthy history of figuring things out to which it has gotten to a ridiculous point you could never hope to achieve or conceptualize

Mf do you want me to make a dump about what I have on crosshairs

Do I really have to go full send on subjects…

Ah, excellent contribution, Sam Cheating Hain 13™. Truly groundbreaking insight into the topic of screen crosshairs and game mechanics. I’m sure your biceps were a critical factor in the debate. Next time, try using your head instead of flexing for attention. This is a discussion, not your Instagram story.

If you didn’t already understand, overlays are basically a dead horse that died of starvation and we are trying to wake it up with crowbars and angry screaming

Wow. The self-proclaimed Crosshair Sage has spoken.

Please, enlighten us with your sacred archive of dot configurations—dots, lines, crosses, circles… maybe even the forbidden triangle? Have you reached the mythical pentagon reticle yet, or is that still locked behind enlightenment?

It’s honestly impressive how deep you’ve gone into the ancient art of drawing shapes in the middle of the screen. Truly, you’re operating on a level the rest of us could never hope to conceptualize.

But yeah—go full send. Drop the sacred Crosshair Codex . We’re all dying to see your dissertation on digital geometry.

Pfffffffffffffffffff

You’ve spent years mastering dots and lines, but you’ve got a “Monitor” sticker on your screen? What, in case you forget which part of the computer you’re staring at? Legend says the keyboard has a sticker that says “Typey Thing.”

Honestly, it makes sense. If you need outside help to draw a crosshair, I guess you also need help labeling basic components. Crosshair expert, but needs a name tag for his screen—can’t make this up.

you moron, i meant that i dont know how/want to install aimbot or any of that shit on my PS5. i DO know how to draw on a piece of tape and stick it on my TV (which i don’t do anyways). use some common fucking sense.
