So it would seem like there’s still people posting dumb shit about builds, I have been severely slacking with builds and have made multiple attempts at trying to put out information just to run out of motivation, I thought I would make a breakdown going over this persons post.
I don’t really see anything wrong with this player and I am focused on game information as this is most likely someone who really doesn’t know the game, doesn’t understand perks, doesn’t really get anything, and is just someone who adds to the ridiculous conglomerate of information slop that plagues Reddit so more or less this.
I think DEEZKNUGHTZ makes a good example with this, which is essentially attempting to give out information when they’re newer and don’t have adept experience

Low Level
Player doesn’t seem to have enough experience to even add any new information to the current knowledge base of loadouts to begin with given the history of other players
Cosmetic customization
Cosmetics don’t have anything to do with loadout direct loadout performance but special note to black outfits for night time
Knife customization
I have to point this out since some people don’t understand the knifes all do the exact same thing
Red Dot on 1011-12
Predator Hunting Grounds is heavily orientated towards hipfire for close quarter engagements, within close quarter engagements ADS for weapons is not preferable for a variety of reasons such as the recoil for pistols in this case creates some tracking difficulties and not being able to get a good gauge for the target you’re actually trying to shoot
Unused weapons
Given that this person is showing of the “Best” weapons I would hope that you would have at least tried these out first so they had to either watch other footage of these weapons being used, gained gameplay experience but quit games to not gain actual XP, or play Predator Hunting Grounds on an alternative account or platform to even consider these weapons, they could even say that A friend told me it was good or I saw it posted somewhere else
I don’t want to even type this out right now which is another possibility of not ever using the weapons at all…

Usage of weapons but not even maxed out also invites criticism far before the actual choice of perks, weapons, gear, and specializations

I’m not really into dropping the hammer on these types of people but more or less I think it’s good to document because it is stuff that people have had to deal with over the years when playing this game and at this point it’s just silly and I am still on the fence of this being 100% satire, I think I am just going to assume it 's a joke but due to many people who still don’t understand loadouts I’m going to break it down anyways
Loadout Breakdown
There is quite a few obvious below average newbie mistakes but some stuff it’s hard to fuck up and what seems ok is assault rifles, pdl, weapons training (meh), frag grenades, self revive. Spartan even managed to put on an SMG but didn’t have any levels on his weapon, I don’t even know what to say to that.
As a comprehensive loadouts, these are far from perfect and don’t even come close to what already exists and is well practiced, infact these aren’t even remotely considerable and a logical loadout is leagues if not worlds beyond what is being showed off in this video. Also.

Duelist with minigun
Duelist… does… not… work… with… a… minigun…
This is completely surface level information
Smoke grenades
Smoke grenades have no benefit to fireteam and even obscure line of sight, even best case scenario they are paired with thermal decoys to which spartan put them on scout… This is messed up because flashbangs are the go to choice due to being able to force recall disc and disorientate Predators, even if you had thermal + smoke grenades or used smoke grenades when Predator does not have mask it’s probably wont even be better than the versatility of flashbangs to which thermal decoys at best is the next choice
ABR-Z
This is a petty excuse for a sniper rifle, SAWZ-50 does the job of the ABR-Z not only better but with less effort, there has never been a reason to even take this gun seriously let alone with the damage possibility with bane, fanatic, and leader stacking
S-R3D
Minigun actually isn’t that bad now but nowhere near “The Best”, in a recent analysis with OG Peeps a minigun was used for the secondary to which cannot be taken seriously even with the consideration of the possible tricks that can be done with the minigun, it does decent damage but is dwarfed by smg’s, 1011-12 + ammo bag, and even grimtech19 currently
Silent
Never an instance to even consider this perk, waste of a perk slot and it’s functionality and implementation development wise is laughable
Dexterous
Not even considerable to use when creating a comprehensive loadout for fighting players that understand what their doing but there is an exception of usage for field medic if anything
Efficient
Efficient has absolutely nothing to do with performance…
6x Zoom for Assault Rifle
Typically this is not the go to, it raises concern for accuracy which would otherwise be better on holographic or red dot
Multitasker
There is not a reason to put this on at all, even with all things considered fast hands is not only a better alternative but you typically don’t want to move that much when you’re in ADS to begin with
2XL
There’s no reason to respect this gun to which 1011-12 outperforms this weapon preferably with ammobags and or SMG right now
Loadout 1
This is not that bad, although flashbangs would be more desirable and efficient provides no benefit.
Thickskin might be better instead of weapons training and efficient simply due to being on console and weapons training being more effective for more precise aiming or replacing efficient with action hero
Loadout 2
This is weird, extra gear points are not utilized with UAV, Ammobags, or Medkits, RP-103 is an ok weapon but 2XL isn’t that good, efficient should be swapped for action hero and multitasker should be swapped with fasthands at the very least
Loadout 3
This is a disaster, recon has no thick skin, recon doesn’t have tracker, sixth sense is not something thats practical, bane is not needed, and owlf trained might be ok as filler but not when in conjunction to recons amount of perk points. You didn’t pick frag grenade or acid for your gear, to which acig is more versatile, although flashbang and thermals are not 100% bad there’s are just better gear to use. At least you picked the sniper specialization and picked the Z-06 which isn’t entirely bad.Also the 7EN has it’s job done better by the SAWZ-50 with much less effort.
Loadout 4
This is a complete and utter failure
This is a staple to loadout incomitance within the community and a nail in the coffin to this post as a whole.
Individually there are better choices for every single weapon, gear choice, and perk for this loadout but not only that, when synergy is in question it fails completely even when addressing what this is as a whole, at best the weapons training compliments S-R3D and dexterous compliments scouts interaction time…
Counters and information
For fireteam weapon you only have to avoid
- Plasma Rifle Prototype
- CS-12
- DJL-33
- XBD-12
- ABR-Z
- D34-D
And the best weapons are really not that hard to understand as they are these and pretty much all the SMG’s
- PDL
- SAWZ-50
- Hammerhead
- 1011-12
This is a good perk pool to reference for fighting Predators who actually know what they are doing and not dipshits
This is the gear you should want to use against people who understand what they are doing
I get that spartan doesn’t have the DLC classes, but this is more than enough information.

I was going to go really deep into loadouts such as going over min max classes, synergies, loadout testing, field testing specific weapons, weapon nuances like what I showed with the mini gun, weapon statistics, within my own workings it is a lot of compiling and it’s hard to counter anyone’s comments and claims without footage
It might seem off topic but I want to nullify builds from users pre 3.0, I have multiple videos showcasing level 1 loadouts with assault, dante, and dutch 1987
Most loadouts are not comprehensive in the past and do not exceed level 1 capabilities such as what I’m going to link
I’m pretty sure I used crosshairs but am not sure what matches have it and wanted to reshoot the footage because it doesn’t have my overlays and fps counter at the time of this recording, it was a project killer for me
There are huge differences in gameplay such as leap time, night time visibility, and day time visibility, the visual changes, I remember it was a struggle to get any good games during this time too

I feel like this has happened too many times to not immediately assume it’s someone who just likes the game and is basing their information of false positives they get from killing predators in public games

I’ve noticed there are way too many Xbox newbies thinking they know everything about the game. Some are humble but most are just arrogant & ignorant like the majority of people on that reddit page.
99% of them have too much of an ego to listen to more experienced players too. Eventually they’ll run into someone like you or me, get humbled, and then walk off with their tail between their legs & still keep some kind of egotistical grudge about it. Too arrogant to take advice & too snowflakey so they just stay offended instead of admitting they were wrong.
Some people just can’t be helped unfortunately.

i’ll say this, i have used them to avoid/prevent disc usage. useful if the pred is a good pilot and you can’t see where the disc was thrown from and you just need to focus on avoiding getting hit for the moment

My builds are far better than his. I’m also aware the shotguns are trash in terms of in-game effectiveness, but I ain’t changing out my DJL-33 for anyone. It’s a personal preference, not out of ignorance thinking it’s a great secondary weapon, bc it’s far from it. It’s a fair compromise, tho.
Everyone’s allowed to share their game-related experiences, whether it’s useful to others or not. Most of us don’t give a flying fuck about the in-depth intricacies and competitive nature of this game, and would rather share their experiences (or lack thereof) in the game, over tryna impress anyone with a higher level of experience. Afterall, it’s just a game, bro. Most of us (including myself) have families and careers, that take much higher precedence over tryna impress PHG’s elite.
If their information is inaccurate or useless, you can leave a positive suggestion in their thread instead of being a dick about it, but I see that’s not how it works, here. Instead, y’all just hide in this subterranean shithole, and critique posts from other platforms, like a plague of TMZ drama queens.
It seems what yall see on other platforms is too painful for your fragile minds to sustain on your own. I pretty much understand that people can’t ever be taught certain things but this way of talking about subjects seems to be the best not always because of the person in review but coverage of a subject for everyone else in a way
