Brother, you get bullied by craftsman using Isabelle and turn around and call him a cheater
Hell, didn’t you just do that to Moralez a few weeks ago lol

It’s crazy that some people don’t know the definition of cheating lmao :D
Pretty sure they are around gen Z, have never played competitive FPS/Ranking or like professionally, there are all kinds of 3rd party customization and stuff nowadays that wash up peoples definition of cheating.
But the real context in this case here is that FY is what seems to be hackusator and a soar loser with personal spite over some members, like hinting HOOD was using subscriber bots with a demagogic argument to make his point. HOOD has a video with 69k views, out of that video alone he could get 8k subs… Is a pretty low blow, so it is only understandable some people wanna fuck with him, even if hes right about the overlay thing or bug abuse, if anything I think we should not empower him and enable him to go further.
So anyway, this topic is pretty much useless, theres other aspects like people trying to downplay it since we are on the forum and it’s evidence, some random mod/admin can come bloodthirsty and give HOOD the banhammer just to pump his ego doing justice.
Or given the pretty much alpha state of the game, anyone is let free to fuck with game files or abuse mechanical/game exploits to their will, so this overlay is the least of our problems.
I mean the overlay thing is next to innocent cheating, it is cheating, but I don’t wanna see our hooded brother gone, we are not many as it is. :D
Btw, Overlays – All kinds of overlays which will show the usage rate of the system in any way in-game (e.g. Nvidia SLI display, Rivatuner Overlay) is forbidden. Overlays which will show only the frames per second (FPS) are not forbidden and can be used.
Is pretty moronic and contradicting itself, the game have an inbuilt fps counter and real time connection metrics lmao, gets to tell you a lot of the pencil pushers coming up with part of those rules…
Not to mention rule number 8 stating no outside applications…
Also different tournaments do have different rulesets. This is Northwest Esports ones, but most of professional players will be expected to have everything on default and have only sys/os processes + the game running. Maybe some allow for a well known outside app for team/couch communication.
Honestly this little overlay is pretty innocent looking at the games state objectively.
I mean, I wish some players were actually cheating, some soft 50% aimbot or something, just so they give preds an actual challenge, despite them not learning to be better or program does the playing for them, very selfish of me… Games state is that bad :D
On a positive note, lets all be happy the game is still not hacking cheaters infested like many other titles, yes cheaters tend to go for big populated titles. But literally one black/grey hat can do wonders to spread a bypass that can kill the game or actually make the devs and security game team put in some work to save phg (if it is even possible).
Few years ago in Battlefront 2, we had a 3 or 4 month long suffering after some madlad cracked the sourcecode and infected the servers with some spread hack. Which did not allow players to be killed, it left them to 1 hp, so everyone was invincible. around 70-80% of all the servers had that and the whole point of the game was kinda ruined. The ultimate pacifist hack if you will, the Uber One Kenotkil.
In a sense the hacker was a legend for showing how much EA/Dice cared to let this thing go for that long, on a no longer supported game, which they abandoned while it was still awesome and in their usual manner, midterm new content release to develop a new cashcow, classic game development these days.
So not only he messed with them, their money and time, but showed the players how much they are worth for them.
Of course players were fucked and outraged, but thats outside of my point. I literally installed the game back, was like wtf, chatted with random people a bit and uninstalled it until I finally learned it was fixed :D
So if anything, the low interest for PHG is a curse and a blessing. The game teams abilities and competence here are way lower than DICE/EAs in every department. One guy can literally destroy all of this nonsense here.
Anyway, my point is, do you see how meaningless these little personal squabbles in forums or in game are, looks like immature stuff and waste of time and energy over nothing much constructive or productive?
On a real note, why have our fellow US players not filled a collective lawsuit or something against Illfonics P2W garbage and keep letting them pull this shit, we should all come together and fucken shit spam all their products pathetic social media accounts, boycott em as others have mentioned, go fucken public like BBC, CBC, and GameSpot or whatever the fuck can put it out there. Battlefront these fuckers. Do some damage, why the fuck are we putting up with this half assed project in the first place?
As an outsider looking in, we look like some sorry asocial fucks crying our asses over here how they did not do justice by the game, hope for some never coming big miracle, turn on each other over some petty stupefied fandom fanaticism or having some personal gripe with lower/higher skilled/intelligent players.
you mad cus your wife doesnt fuck with you
So let me get this straight—you’re trying to call me a cheater because a bug that no one can consistently reproduce happened to me once? That says more about you than it does about me.
You cheaters have normalized this kind of behavior so much that now you’re projecting your own garbage onto others. I played a match just a few days ago—ran into someone using the triple knife hit exploit, not once, not twice, but three times in a single game. And guess what? It was the same guy who constantly runs with that clown Craftsman.
When I called him out, he told me to shut up because "it’s just a bug in the game.” So he openly admitted to abusing an exploit— knowingly. That’s where we’re at now? Justifying cheating because the game allows it?
For some of you, that’s become the standard. But not for me.
Anyway, enjoy your little echo chamber of excuses. You’re not fooling anyone but yourselves.
I dont need to use crosshair, havent in years, if people want to call that unfair whatever, I see using broken stuff in game same way
i can still kill all you haters while my gf blows me
and who are the haters? :)
me, i despise sam and everything about him because he cheat at predador hunting ground
“I can kill all you haters” - so this forum is full of haters?
Oh, we saw another loadout from this one not too long ago, this was possible with 2 accounts is a spin-off of wrong specializations that was found by Jelou late 2021 I want to say
I managed to get mixed results and even trigger a hard reset with one account and this can possibly also happen naturally through updates like most other wrong specs, the thing is if you customize the class it will reset
Some anomalies might be present but I would have to double check such as no wrong specialization such as Support - Sniper
Wa… What?
Wow, that was a lot of words just to say “cheating is fine if the game’s not doing well.”
You start by mocking people for not knowing the “true” definition of cheating, but then openly admit overlays are cheating—just call them “innocent.” So cheating is fine now as long as it’s the kind you personally don’t mind? That’s not logic, that’s justification.
Cheating doesn’t stop being cheating just because the game is struggling. That’s like saying littering is fine because there’s already a dumpster fire nearby. If anything, normalizing it is what kills communities faster than dev neglect ever could.
News flash bud, you’ve cheated at the game numerous times, with or without realizing it.
So how are others cheaters, but you pointing the finger something different?
I’m month in back in the game still trying to relearn keybinds and shit to put me in competitive spot, since the default movement and interaction mechanics are atrocious and still in beta state.
Back in the day I remember pulling some gamma/brightness and contrast cheezes to render preds invisibility pretty much useless. Is that cheating or exploiting, it is game given settings?
I get that you are triggered with what seems like they are downplaying bug/exploit abuse (I’ve noticed that and said it a couple of times, since it does leave kind of bad taste in the mouth), they on the other hand are triggered for being hackused or bmed over being good players. Regardless if its you talking shit or some random pleb.
So you are both right, except it turns into some personal emo bullshit.
Take it up to Illfonic for having a broken game, It’s their job to fix this half assed product.
The so called people you are addressing and demonizing have done a shit ton more for the game and the community, free of charge providing QA, in depth info, breathing life through CC and reporting all kinds of shit they’ve found messing around or simply playing the game. A ton of bugs have been fixed thanks to them.
You are barking up the wrong tree. Did you read my entire reply? Did you comprehend what I was saying? Or simply did selective reading to use two sentences for demagogy empowerment.
Let me know if I can articulate things better, as anyone can sometimes leave the main context in their mind, but express their thoughts poorly.
That latest reddit topic is pretty much people thinking cheating/exploits/hacks are all the same thing on one side and people thinking they are not at all the same things on the other. Simple miscommunication or different established understanding of online term usage.
On top of that some people(including me few weeks ago) have an entirely different expectation for this game, outside of what it really is. So people take liberties without consequences.
I mean some people have some dev content still few years later and its not addressed.
Everyone having a subjective understanding on the topic, given personal experience.
Yes cheating consists of exploits and hacks, but not only. We can go the rabbit hole of legitimate game play (of which exploits do consist btw, someone can go as far as say animation cancels or altering game settings should be considered exploits, since they are used for gaining advantage for the player, except that they are part of the game, anyone can do them and it is not clientsided). I can give you an example with CS 1.6 where almost all servers ban you if you climb around the map, they did not even bother blocking the cheezy spots, they left it in default dev given state, but made it into some nonsense rule of “in some spots you can play, others can’t”. Not to mention even 20 years later from all the playerbase probably around 30% actually know about these spots and how to get there.
We mentioned the old tape trick related to the overlay ch topic to give you a different perception of cheating, practical cheating, you will never know or have actual proof if someone is using something like that.
As a matter of fact CS have been plagued with what is known as togglers or toggling for years.
If their software bypass even the cheating tests, they are undetectable and can abuse it as they wish, even have an entire fanbase thinking they are on a professional level.
On the other hand there are entire subcultures/echo chambers of people believing every good, professional or famous CC is hacking, people with the game knowledge and skill cap of 40hrs of gameplay and can’t analyze or comprehend consistent high end gameplay and the know how behind it.
This topic is so long and have so many factors to consider its insane. I actually know people close to pros who have played in top CS tournaments and play with other people from the 10% best, that know about stuff you don’t want to hear. Some pro players have openly admitted using cheats in order to understand the game mechanics better or improve their personal gameplay based on preprogrammed perfection.
Back in the day I’ve 1v1 cs 1.5/1.6 pros when I was stomping people in aim servers or pubs (and I don’t exaggerate, get 3 to 5 perma bans on a daily basis), barely anyone was actually playing on my level from the region.
Well let me tell you, the pros made me look like a clown, It felt close to identical with playing vs aimbotters. And that was at the time aim training apps were not existent, so peoples skill cap and aiming capabilities were much lower. So I was simply a pub stomper and stuck at a skill cap without means of improvement.
Heres one pretty famous case, I won’t call it controversial since the people calling him hacker or holding that against him are simply noobs and sore losers trying to demagog some shit in order to pump their ego.
This kid used hacks in public games back in the day when he was a young noob, thanks to which he actually understood game mechanics, timing, player behavior/positioning, preaiming, wallbangs, viable map angles, proper movement control for accuracy and all the other “basic” and “advanced” mechanics, that in turn helped him to develop in what they used to market as the kid prodigy on the pro scene.
So let me ask you is n0thing a cheater or an ex pro gamer, he owned up to his past?
Or if you would like to be precise/objective and say, he used to hack, but then he became one of the greatest players to touch KnM in his respective game and era. Sure I bet people in his hacked lobbies were victimized and he was a typical little shit pumping his ego stereotype, but that is simply one side of the story.
Sure he could have done legit learning/training using demos/free look and closed lobbies etc. and keep it respectable with fairplay. But he was just a kid and did what some kids do. You can’t expect everyone to have your code of conduct, as you already might know the general moral norms are getting pushed pretty hard not only in gaming.
And I’m not apologizing or excusing his cheating in the past, I’m looking at the whole picture.
Also one more question about his case, was he cheating since he trained/prepped the nuke wallbangs and obliterate them that round at the final of the tournament? No one had ever done or think of something like that on such high level competition.
I want a Kanye west predator dlc
you’ve got to be aston in disguise
Whos that, why? :D
1 month and I’ve still not seen dr.dis predator :(
Some interesting topics being brought up, I personally will isolate topics because they actually do branch off into so many different directions
The concept of breakdown of functionality to improve base gameplay has the potential to be controversial on many fronts, to an extent I think we kind of do that here and information spreads word of mouth very rapidly and basically every player that has good qualities for adaptability in the long run has always tested stuff
We actually do not have a lot of people who test things on a mechanical level and release findings large scale, despite the seething and putrid hate for exploits and shit, there is not a lot of people willing to take the time to understand it and it’s quite shocking
FairYautja despite hating cheating knows nothing about how the game works and has several notable fumbles provide great examples with basically the model player of someone who mouth foaming with anything remotely advantageous whilst being neurotic, it’s actually quite insane and he currently is holding some type of status above me and Jelou’s head about being an experienced programmer, explaining how the game works to us and completely butchering it
The original topic of overlays is also fucking exhausting now Jesus Christ
I quite literally never stated my stance on that gear exploit. If you must know, I do consider it a scummy move.
I pointed it out because I know it’s not a hack, and it’s a running joke that people on Reddit will call just about anything hacking.
Plus, sharing it here allows me to ask more informed individuals on PC about whether this is similar to the old exploit, or whether it’s the same one, or whether it’s something else.
Not everything is a big hacker cover-up. And even if it was, I’m on PS, why would I give a shit about covering up other people’s hacks & protecting them?
