I wholeheartedly agree, this honestly feels like Sony interference. This mode is not what the majority of fan base was expecting. I played it for two hours and now…I just don’t know. Feels like the devs are just throwing stuff a walls and hoping it sticks.
The problem with this game (latest patch discussion)
I use to defend illfonic but look at where this game is now and combine that with f13. Maybe it’s just time to accept that they can come up with great ideas they just can’t execute them and keep there games in a healthy state. There’s always either alot of annoying bugs or it’s a lack of content. And on top of everything else there communication with there player base is some of the worst ive ever seen. Illfonic just isn’t a reliable developer it’s as simple as that.

The new mode is a chaotic, brainless, generic shooter with a Pred thrown in as an after-thought. However, there are obviously lots of people who enjoy this kind of dumb runaround FPS experience (though there are many games that do this kind of thing better), and the Devs seem intent on attracting that crowd.
Having played the mode once I can safely say I’ll never be playing it again. My only concern is whether this CoD-lite mode will detract players/resources from the original game mode (you know, the one based around a Pred hunting a team of soldiers, like the movie this game is supposed to be based on). Hopefully that won’t be the case, but after today’s update I’m not optimistic about the future direction of the game.

Im a main pred now, and in my first match as predator we were fighting outside of one of the buildings of derrailed, i was dominating, in one minute i killed ten guys but guess what when we had to go inside of the buildings my partners got killed and in the second i enter i was obliterated in one fucking second, i don’t remember the last time i lost like predator, this game mode is boring, generic, and completely unbalanced.
If they’d made a map dev mode people would’ve built the maps for them, then they could’ve sat back and watched the money roll in.
We all love Hunt, it’s just Clash is half-assed. The video summed it up pretty well.
I think the only big barrier to entry in tbis game is the steep price. It simply is not worth $40 for what’s there. This is a $20 game and if it was priced appropriately, there would be a lot more players. Everyone I try to get to play it with me says the same thing. I adore this game and imo it gets better with every update, but the price is too high.

Yeah man, that’s how I feel just as well.
I paid for the deluxe version mostly to support the game so I really feel let down.
I did too when I saw it was an actually fun game. I despised F13 so I had very low expectations. I find PHG to be an incredibly fun game.

Just watched your video and I feel it, that being said I really do hope you can find another game. Your channel may have been about predator for the majority, and sure your views are gonna tank when moving to something new. But If you arent happy doing something, Then do something you are happy doing. Even if shit is gonna be rough during the transition its infinitely worth it. Besides, Your channel isnt defined by the games you play. Its defined by you. So find a game you like, stick with it, and I gurantee you that while maybe not immediately, you will find people who love to watch you.
Its been great having you as part of this community. And while it will suck to see you go, Im sure I speak for everyone when I say you are always welcome to drop your links in the off topic for any new content on new games you move on to. Im sure ill watch. Hell, Ill probably watch you even more because tbh watching people play predator bores the fuck out of me. Any other game and Id have a blast watching you.
