lol I was cheering you on and you almost gave me a heart attack with a few of those quick claims though. 3 quick shots with a bow kills the downed guy and its much safer because you can still move. If they revive him while you’re repositioning for an angle you can immediately down him again. Bows probably best tool for sweaty matches right now. You just kind of have to get into a mindset where you don’t feel like you have to commit super hard to a risky kill bc its a hard habit to break. Youll be able to stay waaay more level headed when you’re not getting lasered that close to them.
It does suck if you feel like you’re not able to put out enough damage faster than they can heal up so that can be rough at times. Reinforcements are high stress too. I think that’s where people tend to get desperate or misplay.

I tried but the shots went right through him it felt like. Honestly that first I was relying on the cloak and being in the bushes to hide me and it miraculously worked lol. And I knew I had to get a kill so I get some kind of momentum going so I took a gamble. I like to gamble from time to time with this shit but I try to be smart about it. Thankfully he didn’t have time to wind up that mini gun or that would have been bad for me lol. That second claim kind of the same story. The third claim I knew I was gonna get second winded but if I get it down to a two man I felt pretty confident that I wouldn’t need it. Even if I had to disengage and leave them alone and they started doing the mission and really pounded they were at a huge disadvantage so that was a much more calculated risk.
I did start to get nervous when I ran out of arrows for that reason. No way was I gonna go back for them and leave them uncontested so I felt like I had to get more aggressive. It didn’t help them that the guy I killed there ran through the that building and gave me an easier claim with where he wound up. I figured when I ran in if I could get him through the door I could force them to get funneled and it worked and claim him before the other two could close in and get line of fire on me.
I would have much preferred to finish them from range and the third guy I probably could have but the hit boxes are balls sometimes so I didn’t wanna take the chance. On the other hand though as well… they had to have drained a decent chunk of their health supplies and ammo I figured as well. Definitely ammo if nothing else. So I probably could have taken it a little more easy there. I think mainly running out of arrows shifted my behavior because I relied on that cloak with moving through the brush to largely make it harder for them to get a solid beat on me. Could probably still be more cautious though lol.
Right? Lol. I mean they did do a solid number on me and it was kind of an exhausting and stressful match but if I had lost my cool for a second they would have raped me.

I don’t actually think the reinforcements bothered me too much since it was only one guy. I was actually a bit relieved because now they just wasted that shit. I guess I also got a bit more brave because of that too although still a lot of pressure regardless.
This was actually a first for me lol. With this game at least. I have had some toxicity but nothing like this before here and I’ve put quite a few hours into this.

Yeah I tend to do the same. Kill one to get the momentum going and just pressure the other ones without downing them so they waste heals and ammo. If they’re just staying there on comms with one guy at a reinforcement radio then it becomes a different ballgame. But i’ve seen people just suicide to get the reinforcement lately so reinforcements always bother me now.
The fact that they reinforce with gear back just promotes full sweeps over playing for attrition, hate it.
I think I can count on one hand how many salty Predators I have seen lol.
What I like to do myself is kinda like that, sometimes, and just forced a lot of heals and then come in when they are beaten and bruised and mop up. If I can’t secure a kill safely I will just pressure them or sometimes just drive by and net the guy trying to revive just to be a nuisance. I actually caused a guy to bleed out once doing that because I caught them in the jungle lol. I imagine he wasn’t too thrilled XD

I usually try to avoid engaging in it myself with then, unless I get pissed off, because all it does is distract me and get me more riled up. I also didn’t wanna give them any indication how it was affecting so that they couldn’t anticipate me with quite as much certainty. Honestly to me the best way to deal with it was to just let them get more worked up and engaged in the trash talk and distract themselves for me. Maybe that is a me thing but when I figure if they are spending all this time running their mouth they aren’t paying the attention they should to be to me.
I did notice that shit too lol. I kinda am disappointed that we will never know what he was gonna say lol. But I think that kinda proved my point above just a little bit because he suddenly had to shut up to focus.
