A poorly reorchestrated version that only really uses the smallest part of the theme’s motif, the rest honestly being forgettable. Illfonic would have been much better off sparing no expense and paying Silvestri a little more so they could use the “chase” theme for Pred/FT engagements, and the ACTUAL Predator theme, preferably from 2 with all the added tribal percussion.

I think I understand the downward shift in the quality we are all seeing.

I think the original dev team loved predator. The game at launched oozed with enthusiasm.

Butt I bet none of them work there anymore and their replacements think predator is that guy from Fortnite

Alright. Gonna be really hard to be kind considering how badly they’ve been fucking up recently but I’ll say this…

The Lore this game presented fucking saved the IP after The Predator. We somehow averted another crash course akin to Prometheus & Covenant and for that I am always gonna be thankful to the Writers they got on this game. Everything surrounding the OWLF’s return, Dutch and especially the new Predators like Cleo is A+ and pretty much every new character this game introduced deserves a fuck lot more exposure. I’d kill for a comic series or novel exploring Cleo’s younger days, perhaps maybe even put her up against Arnie’s Conan when he’s in his Old King days. Do an inverse of Predator 1 with the Yautja on the backfoot and having to fight a superior foe in Conan. Hell, even Exiled, Samurai & Valk & Viking all deserve some stuff too, they’re awesome designs even if all of them but Valk & Cleo play like shit.

Yeah I’d say the writing & art team carried this game, the Lore fucking saved the universe after the last movie and I’m glad to see people like Arnie return to do all the Voices and help with the story. Its genuinely good shit.

I wish we had actually good, fair & balanced gameplay to go alongside it and I wish they didn’t fuck up characters like Wolf. I don’t like being mad at the game, I played almost constantly for damn near 2 years straight and spent a fuck ton of money on it during that time but it is REALLY fucking hard to not see the Devs as either incompetent or straight up thieving rats right now.

I think the foundation of the gameplay was a good selling point for me. Four fps players vs AI vs a 3rd person tank is not a bad dynamic. They didn’t fail so much as drop a lot of balls.

Pred customization is also great, though leaving much to be desired theyre the first to go this far and until recently did well in delivering good models.

I think I like ft/pred voice chat the best though. Can’t remember the last time I played a game that allowed you back and forth shit talking in a competitive setting. Not only has it led to hilarity but more mercy than not, sometimes I’d give a highly inexperienced ft a break and just help them understand the game instead for the match.

It’s super damn fun at the end of the day and as a fan since I was 10 I always wanted a pvp game exactly like this. The avp games flirted with the idea/execution. But illfonic totally gets it and the franchise as a whole. You can tell it was made by fans who truly loved the source material. Even though it’s not the most polished nor has a massive AAA budget/features. I love it for what it is regardless.

They also gave dutch an amazing offscreen back story I would kill to see made into a movie.

The original predators added as long as original masks are great as well.

Do I wish it had way more as a whole? Obviously we all do. But I play it almost everyday and never get sick of it because 1. I’m a damn good predator main XD 2. It’s my favorite movie I.P 3. It’s my favorite pvp since gears of war
