The overall conclusion of this vid shows that pred is 100% invisible when standing still.
A moving pred sticks out like a sore thumb regardless of platform or settings.
Think im done till next patch....

No youâre right of course as graphic settings can be lowered. But at least we can be thankful that the Potato mode/white silhouette looks like itâs a hack, otherwise Pred is 100% invisible to most players.

Not ruling out that you could win as Pred, but getting better is not a valid argument against what appears to be a hack/pre patch (I actually donât know how they do it đ¤).

Those clicks hes making need to be toned down imo, far too loud, he may as well be wearing a bell round his neck.
Also @OP Iâve had two games like that in all my time playing the game and I just let it go immediately and requeued, the second one, the FT came up on the roof with one in particular coming up behind me with no sound and started knifing me, I hadnt moved or done anything in over a minute so as not to give my position away, so you can imagine my surprise. This is on PC with Hyper-X headphones.
I of course got mown down while trying to regroup and then I got sniped while in second wind and being behind trees and bushes, etc. I managed to self-destruct since the guy sniping me was way over on a roof top and the others had to navigate the trains to get to me. Gameover inside 2 1/2 minutes and they got less than 1k XP.
I asked what the point of it was in voice comms, only one guy responded with a snide chuckle which told me all I needed to know.
You do not need potato graphics to see the Pred. I have all the graphics on high and it is amazingly easy to see a cloaked Predator and it has been something I have been saying since the game released that the cloak needs to be harder to see. When the game released I had come out of eye surgery and could not see at all with 1 of my eyes. With only 1 eye I was easily able to see the Predator the cloak is literally that bad and iv said it on a few occasions and I think I even mentioned it on the first thread I made on the forums.
My graphics are maxed and the pred is still easy to spot while moving. But then again, Iâve been playing against predators for decades now so I can identify cloaking very easily.
There also the fact some players are more aware, can notice things others dont. Like how some players will seem to always see you but some are blind as a bat.
Anyway I was just trying to see what the problem was.
Hopefully they fix it.

I was honestly just trying to get an idea as to why spot was such a problem for some people. But I got my answer now. Itâs not spotting, its that a lot of pc players run potatoe mode and even If they dont, preds easy to see.
Really needs fixing.

Yeah but while thatâs the worst one for pred, what Iâm getting from all these guys is that it doesnât even matter if theyâre in potatoe or not.
I saw that vid in this thread earlier and that shit made me depressed.
They really need to fix it, cause its definitely not working as intended on pc.

yea tbh it really doesnât on PC lol, it just depends on what makes it easier to see the Pred in your experience, potato or seeing in detail where the pred is at any given time when theyâre near u
I donât get the complaints. You werenât even alive long enough for you to claim the FT wasnât playing objectives. You died after the first encounter. It just sounds like youâre bad.
You give no advice on what to change and instead write a rant on how you were upset you had to move as the Predator (?) And then you run to heal ON A ROCK(?) like its not the most vulnerable, visible place to heal. You also add that the plasma caster does nothing, which is completely hyperbolic and clear youâre just angry because youâre bad.

Well as i said i knew you fanboys would claim get gud. Im not a noob so please spare me the usual rightous combacks like get gud⌠I only play as predator so i consider myself a decent player.
as for the rock , as i said it was a huge tall rock formation but i had limited time to choose as i was in second wind⌠As for their objectives⌠they came straight for me knowing i was there then just followed me (without being spotted) all four of them⌠one person couldve done the objective but they just wanted to harass me which by the way they bragged about before the match even started on comms. They knew what they were doing and as i said i just plan on taking a break.

This entire discussion sums up many of my disappointments in this game. Its fast paced, full of action, but lacks the suspense and the feel of the hunt or being hunted. The game is a brawler. Hit fast and hard and never let up. If either team gives up on their mission for even a moment it could be a loss. Its just not how I envisioned a Predator game given the entire Predator premise.
