Depends on classes and perks. Used to be one combo could wipe a team if they weren’t social distancing… those days are long gone.
if you go spam swinging like an idiot… sure… 6 “hits” because in reality you are not landing all of them.
C’mon man… we have tested all this. A single wristblade attack does 30 points of damage. Combi does 50.
3 hits will down a full health assault but you have to land them.
Combi does 20 base 22 with fearless, wristblades are base 30.

Yes and there hasnt been any change to melee weapons since then since that was the last patch before 2.0 and the hhpc and bow got changed nothing else that I am aware of.

Im aware of that I wish they would tell us those, so I could be wrong at that point.
not to mention devs here don’t state anything witth numbers. we have to go in privates and test it ourselves…
that’s how we know ice cold and silent are useless perks. Yaujta’s bane and OWLF use to be useless too… I still don’t use them because it honestly doesn’t feel they make any difference at all. we haven’t test those after the last patch
Yeah bar stats arent a good representation of the stats imo, I would much prefer a number based stats but thay might get confusing I would using floating damage numbers but this isn’t an mmo and it wouldn’t fit well. Also how the stats change when you equip different perks would be great.
even on the last patch before 2.0, there was a silent buff (or bug) which made assault take 35 points damage from wristblades. we haven’t tested after patch 2.0
is honestly tiresome and boring to get a few people to test all this shit. we usually do it when the patches come up, but not always. anyway… if you are down to test anytime and see for yourself, be my guest. Now that crossplay invites are fixed we can all test all that shit and settle these disputes with facts.
Yeah throwing around numbers with no factual proof doesn’t help these situations I was just using what was currently available but I forgot to factor in shadow buffs/nerfs when stating my point, but I agree settling common issues by actually figuring out works is alot better and deters people from making bs damage claims.
people here fall victims of placebo effect, such as that of “last man standing”… we even had someone on our team saying last man standing was completely invisible under mud, when we tested it ourselves and saw that it wasn’t.

and then you have the so called “damage decrease” and “damage increase” … which are a pathetic 10% at best… which in all honesty, against a weapon that takes all your health in 3 or 4 attacks… is null.
If you say a 50% or even a 25% damage reduction or increase… alright… that’s a lot… but 10%? that’s like 10 cents out of a dollar. Not a lot and when it comes down to gameplay… you are still going down with the same amount of hits
Impentrable, down range, fearless are useless I dont understand why its just 10% for both sides cause honestly there’s no reason to take them, I don’t even use bane, owlf cause half time it doesn’t make that much of differnce I could be wrong though.

People here swear by thick skin when I consider gear head to be far superior. Double speed is now meta too, specially with support, which is so fucking useless when you move so slow.
People think having a lot of health is important when in reality, you don’t want more health to withstand damage, you want speed to avoid it.
Yup double time us my favorite perk on ft, speed and stamina is more important imo cause you have a better chance to parry the pred and run from said pred when you pull off a sucessful parry.
not to mention strafe away from arrows and plasma shots. every time I run support I see the shot coming to my face and cant duck from it
