Im lvl 71 and Predator is to easy for the fireteams.
You can do whatever you want, you can’t kill a full fireteam, the fireteam kill the Predator, and I thought you should fear him…
this game really just takes skill
I dont agree with that. If played right the predator can one shot people from distance if they got the skill to do so.
you just gotta be smart about it most people think the predator can kill easy but if you take your take a predator can kill a full fireteam with mics
No sorry man, yes you can kill noobs as Predator but you dont can kill a good fireteam you have 100% no chance, not even with luck.
Im lvl 71 and i play only with the Predator.
It’s true. But I will try to come up with something. Any self-respecting hunter SHOULD come up with something now. (A berserker with a stick is not my ninja way, if you know what I mean.)
True but the Hunter is to low and the most ranged weapons are shit, and the Predator is louder as a T-Rex.
You can’t be like a ninja in this game.
Debatable. The issue is maintaining the distance. Yes, the predator is weak, I am currently conducting an active discussion with people in another topic just below this, if you express your thoughts there and raise your active, I will be very happy.
lol range weapons are shit?? the bow does 90 damage a shot and can be shot while completely invisible… the smart disc does 140. and throwing the combi stick is 150+ flash. seems decent to me.
also ALL those weapons are 1 hit headshots
Yeah … great … 90 damage … It’s a pity that the commandos have 175hp and a bunch of first-aid kits. This does not work, only the plasma gun will decide here. Well, yes, she’s one shot at a direct hit and will finish off from the second.
wow a bow that 2 shots and will 1 hit headshot… wow the predator doesnt 1 shot everything? needs a buff. lol Im not going to debate this. I play bow predator and im level 67 and I do it just fine against 4. I win some I lose some but the ones I do lose Im always taking some with me. but I will agree the fireteam has to many heals. that I can agree
The team has too much effective health, count it yourself, the guy in the other topic has already said that on average you bring to the location thirty! THIRTY FUCK! first-aid kits and you also have a FUCKING RESURRECTION FROM THE LORD OF GOD! It’s difficult for me to kill 4, but here 8…
Yeah they need to remove the Execution animation cancle and then remove the team revive mission
Playing Predator does take a lot of skill…if for no other reason than you’re going up against 4 others players, so you have to split your attention more than the fire team does.
Honestly, I think a few simple changes to the mission structure and AI would go a long way toward evening out the playing field and giving Predator better windows to be effective.
-
Find a way for the missions to require the team to split up a bit. Like “You must hit these two switches simultaneously to open the safe”, etc. Don’t force the team to go to opposite ends of the map but at least make them have to divide their forces instead of just making a conga line through the whole match.
-
Make the AI more of a threat. Increase their damage, make them deploy more tactically or let them occasionally pose a critical challenge (like manning a machine gun nest, or bringing out grenade launchers. Maybe even the occasional attack chopper that buzzes in. More important than just “slapping damage” on the fire team, the AI needs to be a something that distracts the team enough that they can’t just focus fire the Pred constantly. As it is, the fire team can pretty safely ignore enemy AI and just tank their pitiful damage without a second thought.
-
Give the Predator more “tricky” tools. Tools to either fool the fire team (like cloaking decoys or something) or that encourage them to split up.
-
Reduce/remove the ammo and health drops on the map. There should be at most one ammo and one health pack per major combat set-piece. For some of the larger “towns”, maybe 2. Even so, the fire team can already bring their own deployable health and ammo reserves, so I think it may even be reasonable to remove health/ammo drops from the map entirely. The fire team is simply too well-supplied most of the time. They should be concerned about running out. That by itself would help put some pressure on the players. Might even make for a decent Predator tactic to “toy” with the fire team and get them to expend ammo wastefully.
Edit: And yeah…remove Reinforcements.
Also…Pred’s cloak is problematic. It’s way too visible.
how can you say it just takes skill when as a fireteam member you can use the epipen to heal in like 3 seconds and you the player have control again to shoot or move while your health returns to full… But as the predator (whether your near death or just healing normal) you have to wait and wait and wait and wait for the stupid animation to complete. and if the fireteam does get you near death you are no longer allowed to jump, leap, or even defend with a blade or weapon… your forced to run away to heal before you bleedout or get eliminated which is what happens as your stuck in a forever animation… so tell me again how thats skill and not just unbalanced…
actually if your not in vision mode and not moving around, you should be completely invisible un noticable from one of the dev videos i saw but i could be wrong…
That’s one thing some people apparently don’t have around here…patience and the drive to learn and adapt.
They say that and yet…I’ve been crouched and perfectly still on multiple occasions, yet someone on the fire team pins a spot on me, so…I’m not entirely sure.
I notice when you disable vision mode while cloaked and the pred is facing the camera, you can see the eyes of the mask light up. I would understand then that a FT member can spot me if they see that too. I need to experiment with a friend what a cloaked Predator looks like with vision mode on in FT POV.
