I can only speak for myself.
The reason I dont play like that.
Because I can farm XP at my own pace while listening to my music.
Relaxing, chilling.
But also.
When I go into publics.
It’s about giving the Ft a good time.
In this case, that depends on the Ft im against as well.
Its never as easy as said.
But id rather give them a good time then farm or kill them.
In the end sometimes that only means ill get 5,000xp.
But im okay with that.
I made that choice on my own.
But thats just me and why I dont play like that all the time.
Ya ya talk shit about ps4 ft cause its easy on pc for ft since shit dont work properly over there for pred. Mainly the cloak.

Dude you aren’t special, or better than other pred players just because there’s a current meta that you refuse to play against. Melee is really risky/broken when the FT can just have ONE FT member parry lock your gormless ass, and shoot you to pieces, so OF COURSE it’s more efficient to shoot THEM to pieces FIRST before mopping them up?
Do you think you’re some kind of tacticool genius or something? Because you’re NOT. I’ve been told by salty fireteams many times over using a WIDE VARIETY of weapons that I was “One of the best predators ever” or “Holy shit, you’re one of the bitchiest preds we’ve had to face”
But I digress. If you’re too much of a pussy to use a scout melee build, and bumrush slash down the enemy fireteam . . . I feel sorry for you, because it’s totally viable. FT can’t parry if you’re behind them, attacking their side, or just mixing up your blows a bit. Melee is COMPLETELY viable. Sword, OR spear. Even the CLUB wrecks if you’re using bow, net, or traps or a combo of 2 of those 3 things to support it.
The real problem with melee is that melee tracking is buggy, and fucking terrible and sometimes it wigs out and you wind up gormlessly lagging behind fireteam members and focusing on no one while again you get shot to pieces, so you have to leap away or whatever and go eat a pig or use a heal, because even though you did EVERYTHING RIGHT the game will STILL fuck you randomly.
Some people decide to end things fast, because of griefers or because the FT is just ANNOYING.
If I’m not milking you for EXP it’s not because I’m bad, it’s because the FT is cheap, annoying, irritating and doesn’t deserve to be milked for exp. If it’s not fun I kill as quickly as possible because I’ll be damned if I lose more than a handful of times to cheesy bullshit. If I think a FT is actually outplaying me fair and square I’ll play into what the game wants me to. Drag stuff out, and try to react intelligently. Shoot my mask off from a distance I can’t even see you from because your graphics settings are all the way down, and you’re a cheater? I’ll still find you, rush you down, and kill your or drag it out to the end and win anyway. It’s not hard, and OP you’re not special just because you found one build that works for you.
Honestly the next thing we as a community should investigate is SIDE BY SIDE footage of a ps4 ft not seeing a predator at range that a pc predator sees. The mechanism is poorly understood and we honestly only have subjective, out of context evidence/footage currently.

Good fireteams don’t get wiped in 3 minutes. Some preds dont want to waste their time on unworthy prey. Hell, I’ve let plenty of them bleed out. No sense claiming a skull when they cant be distinguished from ai.
