to those of you defending illfonic.
I felt that too way back April - May.
Game ran terribly bad. Then I stopped playing it for a while, July 10 came back. Now I can say that I wasn’t able to appreciate the game as a whole, mainly because I didn’t enjoy playing it.
But like you said: Game still has troubles, and I agree on expressing dissatisfaction as a customer right. Nonetheless illFonic really has made some progress on the game. Not the best game out there but men, I really have had a looot of fun :)
And like if it wasn’t enough there’s more to come :D

But for real though Illfonic, while still a newish company they’ve had plenty of opportunities with improvement with their games but they just keep messing it up then the same old shit happens. Look at nexuiz, dead alliance, f13, and now Predator HG. It’s the same thing happening again and again. And even though its been only two franchises, they have messed them both up. I’m also talking about before the legal shenanigans too. They need to learn NOW. They have no excuses.
I also agree that yes, we are dealing with a pandemic on our hands but I know one things for sure, this pandemic had taught us that we really don’t need 5-6 day work weeks and work mostly from home and still get shit done it’s been happening everywhere since it started. And if there is ANY industry that can pull off solely working from home, it’s the video game industry.

I love this game and was willing to put up with the lack of new maps or modes because I had enough fun with them (like I did with F13), but it’s looking like Illfonic is going to follow the exact same path they did with F13. Still so many bugs and a lack of communication (I’m still pissed about how silent they are on the auto claim bug because of how gamebreaking it is, not a word about it aside from one small forum reply). Gun Media did most of the community interaction for F13, not Illfonic. All they did was release patch notes and tweet things. Something needs to change, otherwise they’re just going to keep tainting franchises.

I was creating topics with videos in bug reports forum in april, showing them bugs, and even got no the answer, nor the solution of them
Preach bro. I’m just glad I walked away when I did and saved myself further dissapointment

We all bought the Dutch dlc for supporting them, we all have put many videos of bugs in the “Bug report” section, we all have given them a lot of feedback. Now there is no reason to defend them. Despite all the bad reviews the game started pretty decently , it was 400/500k active players, not bad al all. They They have even managed to make the situation even worse. Now they are writing about these new maps and mode but , will it be enough to being back all the players lost in the past? I think it’s too late.

I honestly think, if they can at least fix all the technical problems, start with that, that will stop more people from leaving and help the playerbase grow.
Then once that’s under control, add new maps and modes.
If any new bugs come with them, fix them, and then add new stuff.
As well as bug fixes, a lot of us, from what I’ve seen, feel that the game needs better balancing.
So work on that at the same time.
It’s kinda too easy on ft atm.
Hopefully things get better, so you, and the others who decided to stop playing/ take a break can return and have fun with it again.
