Yes the Predator is shit, he it is louder than a dinosaur or a earthquake.
The Predator must to get better or nobody will play this game anymore, because it is not a challenge to kill the Predator.
Too easy to spot predator.
There were never any red auras or a way to put a visual beacon on a predator in the movies. The red aura is lame no matter which side you are on. And it ruins the stealth of the predator. Please fix this!
If we going to compare this to the movies/comic books! I feel it very unfair I can put 100 plus round 3 feet away and it donāt even get you in to second wind! This is with the belt feed machine gun! None of the Predator are as tanky as the game is! Other than the Super predator! That is not in the game for now! I Dare you to go in a private match and test how many bullets it take to put the classes with different skill in to second wind!
Thatās because you didnāt know where to shoot. If the movie characters could put a red halo around the predators and combine their fire as easily as you can in this game, it would have been turkey shoot and the movie would have been over in 15 minutes.
I feel predator spotting needs to be changed.
Instead of actually spotting sure let people ping, but on a 10 second cool down per player so it cant be spammed.
You shouldnāt be able to highlight the predator, it should be down to individual skill and concentration to spot them yourself, you dont need to put a red highlight around it.
Most players who run and jump through those trees with cloak on are more visible than they think anyway.
I personally try to avoid spotting. That makes them run away. I prefer to track down where they stopped and give that mask a good olā lead medicine with my Sniper Rifle ;)
Yes exactly, you are adjusting your game play to accommodate a broken game mechanic.

Iām, last time I checked, there are a hundred threads about this, with nothing being done, and the game is one month old. Far from dead.
If it had been fixed, well then yes, maybe then it would be dead.
But right now, itās far from dead.
Any update on the spotting?
In the first movie he did click here and there to taunt themā¦ but it never gave away his exact location. Like when he killed Dillon it sounded like it was right behind him but the Predator was standing like 25 feet away. Thatās what the game needs to do. Leave the clicking in but throw the sound a little.
When Predator killed Mac, he was literally standing on the logs Mac was hiding under and did not give his position away via sound/clicks.
It looks like Mac could have tickled Predators feet (assuming Predators have ticklish feet).

thats because the issue is the broken mechanic as i stated in my thread. That the spotting is like battlefieldā¦ you just look in any direction you think the enemy isā¦ spam the spot key and bam, its revealed to you even if you couldnt physically see the enemyā¦ its pure garbage and im pretty certain this is what illfonic was talking about fixing in the next patchā¦ Cant wait

He wrote that before 1.08 The Predator hardly makes a sound now, Iāve seen it run right past me and there was barely noticeable footsteps. So theyāve definitely addressed the sound issue.
