Trolls like light_unit can be competent too, but i think they have different agenda. It either they win and laugh if up or lose and rage. I think the dont want to be serious cause they find more joy in trolling.

Hacker while mainly reserved for PC players can still be applied to console players after some sort of feat. For example, someone will be called a hacker for not missing their arrow shots/combi throws, having more than one disc, or the one I got reported for, using target ISO and knowing where the FT was in the beginning of the game.

I was called a Hacker by a Steam PC player back in early February because I double-tapped him with the Smart Disk. That was a weird fucking day.

Been called a hacker for winning a 1v1 as a scout against a Dante. Apparently that’s not supposed to happen.

Well apparently there’s two light units out there, hence why I said fake. You got light_unit08 and light_unit108. I’ve encountered him twice, once I have a video of when I didn’t realize the name was slightly different until the end, and last night when I made him quit. Both use Dante, forgot what specs and whatnot but I know he plays decently well. But he doesn’t use the mic at all, and that’s disappointing.

OH I LOVE THOSE KIND OF MATCHES.
There was a time where for 4 days straight, Quick Play was nothing but Dantes & Supports hour after hour. I ended loading into one on Derailed as a Disciplined Scout against 3 Dantes, 1 Fanatic & 2 Unleashed with a Support Field Medic and without any damage buffs, had to fight those fuckers TWICE because one of the Dantes managed to tank his way through to the Reinforcement Radio. I got the win, and a lot of salt. Because that’s all Dante players know.

The only DLC I haven’t bought is Dante. Dante is shit. BUT. I’ve had the itch to buy him, just to be that clown and troll potato Preds. I have the most fun right now being something of a troll, so maybe that’s what I’ll do.

Yeah most Dante players tend to be really salty, prior to him it used to be Dutch 87s that were the exact same way.

Miss every shot
Loose every melee
Have no idea where any fireteam is
Loose every match unless AI takes out team and even then you could have hacked into AI and cheated ya lil bitch

I bought him because he looked interesting back when he launched. I regret that purchase, it just feels wrong to use him unless I’m purposely fucking around in privates. If I do use him it’s with the grenade launcher.

I own every DLC, for better or worse. Back in I think it was around November of 2020 when they added Dante I did play him. But like, back then I wasn’t taking part in the community I didn’t have any clue of how the balance was or how things would be. Back then it was a simpler time. These days, yeah I have him, yeah I love his design and think the dude he’s based on seems to be a chill guy but I can’t bring myself to use him. I really only use Izzy these days, because she’s the most fair in my eyes. And keep in mind I suck at FT, but like aim & game knowledge is all you need. So still hitting around 2K on average, 5K on a really good day… just unfair when you can solo most matches, shouldn’t be possible.

Oh I still get a bunch of salty 87s now and then, and I can point out its the Nolan Mask users who do it the most. Same as how the old Spartan helmet Assaults & 2025s used to be that way.

So more than anything, we need to keep asking Illfonic to put a beginner level FT tactical tutorial and perhaps make dealing damage to pred as important as finishing obj, if not more. That will drive balance for the future of the game, if FT plays the right way. Perhaps it will cause potato Preds to rely less on melee.
I bet the community can make a mock vid just so Illfonic know what exactly needs to be in the tutorial vid.
