It would he boring after 5 games. Is this game designed to play 5 games and then come back the next month? I dont think so, this game to remain alive needs an active fireteam player base. All people are saying this, no matter what the game should be balanced , like all the other games. In every game there are balance problem but at least devs always try to balance in the proper way. In that game is the opposite and it’s sad.

I know right i just want a chance to actually hunt. Like we all knownFT is easy to do but predator is what we all came here for and that should still be a threat. Right now the danger level is like what a bee at best not even a wasp. You don’t fuck with wasps
Have you seen my videos when I was playing solo in pubs? Imagine now 😂😂😂😂. They made one above avarage player able to solo kill 99% of pred. Last Viking I fought I did 6900 damage and I was solo chasing him all the time. Not that hard when the Viking Axe will miss every heavy attack because it’s a trash weapon.

I had a viking with the axe kill the whole team yesterday, he keep doing like a little jump and overhead swing and was fucking everybody up. He was moving and jumping around so good that no knew where he was until he was swinging on someone, so that tells me that you guys just need to practice some more. Viking has only been out a few days, it takes more than a few days to master something

I dont even have Viking , I refuse to buy that trash class unless they fix it with an hot fix. I solo killed so many of them and I have one friend that bought it and played against 2 of us, he couldnt do anything because the class is so slow, large hitboxes and the Axe is trash. It ended with 6100 damage for me and 3000 for my friend , the other 2 randoms ps4 did 0 cause they were focusing on AI and missions. Before you say “pred get good” , the pred was dan3800, the guy that destroy devs in their stream.
Well I really wish I would’ve looked at that preds name from yesterday cause he was moving fast as hell and that jump swing he was doing it over and over. It was the only swinging animation I seem him use he made the three randoms look like noobs
They should add something on here so you can see who is PC and who is PS4 cause I’m feeling like most of y’all are PC
The fact that you have a large hit box, slow movement and low stamina. Plus the tracking of the Axe and the speed. Also the hp of the Viking are the same of Berserker. So it’s trash in my opinion. He should have had 1700 at least

I am not saying that the game not being an esport game is an excuse. But I suspect an influx of good players coming from competitive games and new/ casual players have contributed to a bizarre position where some FireTeam players shit on predators all day long and some FireTeam new/ casual players barely manage to hit the Pred.
I agree that the game right now is in a laughable state. Yesterday we just made a PC only team, went into pub games, and lost only to a top PC predator out of probably 20 games. We were just an average PC team.
As for the Viking… well, it’s a big joke.

I doubt any serious gamers are giving this game any attention at the moment. Anyone who values balance and expects a smooth running game coming from a professional background wouldn’t touch this game if you paid them. Fireteams are melting Predators because of the insane damage output they can do thanks to the specialisations and perks. A player doesn’t even need to have a specialist perk selected and can still benefit from a damage buff if another teammate has Leader or something similar.
And any new player who tries out playing as Predator is not going to want to continue after waiting ten minutes to get melted in the first engagement. Two matches of that and they’ll either switch to Fireteam or play something else. Eventually, the game will drive away most people from playing as Predator and when all that’s left are Fireteam members, Hunt mode will die and the only thing keeping the game alive will be Clash…and maybe that’s what they were thinking with Clash, it’s an insurance policy incase they totally destroy Hunt.

Very true.
My issue is not with the Viking since to me he feels like berserker but a bit better since he has a lot of perk points and I can build him how I want, the axe however is janky.
As it stands the hit boxes are weird (some hits from it should never count as hits when the axe whiffs and sometimes you’ll be right on top of them and it doesn’t register as hit) and the only viable attack from it is the heavy since it propels you forward, hits like a truck, and if I’m not mistaken is unparryable. The light is too slow, lacks range, and keeps you stuck in place

Dude no, the heavy attack is the worst thing about the Viking. It’s easy to see it coming. Just sidestep and you avoid it.

Don’t get me wrong the heavy is also fucked but if you compare the light attack and the heavy you can see which one is worse. At the very least the heavy propels you forward the light keeps you in place.

You know the game is dying fast when even with Crossplay ON you keep getting matched with the same players quite often. And QUITE often they (Preds in pubs) just leave when they see the same FT
