Can confirm, Hunters are freaking tanks with the right build, especially while claiming, bullets just seem to slide off them.
Haven’t tested the pit bull yet but don’t think the new AR is worth it, and
I’m actually a little worried bullet based guns are unintentionally nerfed.
Flanking the Pred also seems to be way less effective, not sure if it’s the taking less range damage from behind or height advantage but Preds in trees are buff as fuck.

No need to run away on the ground. Just jump into trees, use claok and quietly heal while observing what FT does

I added the CS-12. Is definitely more viable, but I’m not sure how the dps stacks up to the SMGs.

Probably that new iron back perk they added. I noticed it too when playing earlier that shooting pred from behind did less damage but when I moved to the front, pred got melted

Ah, that was probably it. It wasn’t Skeptic, it was a different Pred but he basically sat in the trees and just repeatedly downed my whole team till people started dying. I would swear I was hitting him and he basically ignored me.
There’s definitely some interesting play styles that might develop around that perk.

I fought today what it looked like a Samurai. Had the helmet, katana but was leaping very often, so I thought, he has adrenal boost perk for sure.
Dude claimed two dudes in two different situations, I almost emptied the 25 bullets from the new gun into him, he never got 2nd winded.
So I checked, cause this is the 1st time I’m seeing this.
It was a freaking scout. I bet this dude was full on tank perks, he wasnt even full green.
Then I went against CH and was able to 2nd wind him once, cause he didnt had full hp when he came in swinging.
I swear, Preds with the right perks are tanks atm.
I can only imagine what would feel like going against zerk now with full on tank perks mode.

Okay, since they stack it is actually less.
0.75x0.80=0.60=60% damage, but that is still really strong, but that’s 11 perk points. I could imagine an elder and scout making good use of these perks together.

Well wouldn’t this mean that with the bullet dmg reduction passives hunter/scouts naturally have (that they got back around patch 1.06ish) get up to damn near 50 percent with those perks or exceed in the case of th back armor perk? Cause that’s fucking wild imagine firing a sniper round that does like 80 damage or whatever
Yeah. Max damage, without perks or specializations, of SAWZ50 would be 141 with both Inpen and Height Adv perks.
Based on other people’s numbers I can see why I was a mosquito barely tickling them. I think I might need to change my Pred Scout build.

It’s because so many people are playing fireteam. Low predator wait times is a good thing.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining about the low pressure wait times. it just feels so oddly unbalanced It’s either very very good people are very very bad people. My kids and the other room and he’s having a lot of the same things he’s playing fire team more than I am but still very good people are very bad people. …

Yeah there’s lots of arguments to be had here. At this point I’m so confused with the path they want to take with this game.
I love the concept but playing as both fire team and predator fire team has an advantage if they’re coordinated and smart. The problem with that is there are a lot of people who are not on my and/or neither coordinated nor smart. I’ve taking their spines as predator and died because of them as fire team. It is what it is to a degree I guess…
