Any update is not worth it. Waiting an entire month or multiple months for a new skin or a map with tons of mesh holes etc, it’s really not worth it anymore. The game was actually getting better imo but the lack of communication from the Devs has literally made me lose hope, sure we have forum moderators to say “that they’re working on it” is not good enough, look at Ark for example, community managers, gave Devs, all respond and talk to their community because they care about it, if they didn’t, it would be the same as here.

But do the Devs actually pay attention to the forum other than bugs? Not really. Are the Devs actively trying to give us hope on the next dlc, no. Do they host any community events other than giveaways for America only, no. Why’s that? Because they’re too focused on their own IP and seeing the success of that instead. Most of us are staying because you’re bound to the franchise and cannot leave because you’re too hardcore of fans (which isn’t a bad thing), the lack of communication from the Devs and the acknowledgement that the forums actually exist other than the announcements channel for “we’re releasing this new skin which took many months to make” or “we’ve fixed this very minor bug but still haven’t fixed day 1 bugs” or “we’re going on holiday without releasing any new DLC or balance patches to keep you entertained, so you’ll have to wait until we get back”, I do know that game development takes a while but keeping us constantly in the dark with no actual responses just makes a poor community and the game dies, which it is.

There’s this known thing called “Patch Tuesday” which is the day, mainly Windows, releases updates. Most companies followed suit and started to release their updates on Tuesday too. Makes sense from an IT perspective, as the patch can be tested over the weekend and deployed on Monday for a public release on Tuesday. This also allows them to have 3 additional business day for any possible “hot fix” related to the update.

illfonic has mostly released updates on Tuesdays, though they have released patches on Fridays on a few occasions.

Judging by their update release pattern, the next update will unlikely include DLC, as the last patch included it. So we can be sure the next update will bring the Cleopatra disc skin to all players regardless if they purchased Cleo or not.

As for the patch day, they have remained mostly silent, so I’d doubt it will drop tomorrow. Judging by the OP, it will more than likely release on Friday, but who knows… they may be behind and end releasing it next month. With illfonic, you really never know.

As I explained in the giveaway post, PS5 keys are regional so we were restricted to the regions we have on hand. We’re hoping and pushing to bring PS5 key giveaways to other regions in the future.

We do try to take into account what you’re all saying, but there are quite a few of you, so it’s difficult to parse feedback not posted in the feedback section or given in a thread with a lot of off-topic conversation or random memes.

As for other community events, I’m more than open to any ideas you or anyone else might have.
